Explanation of what happened in this episode: Kirito's Avatar - getting rare avatar depends on your playing time. Kirito s account has lot of time if you think about it. 2 full year in SAO and 1 year of playing ALO. so he get ultra rare avatar like that and you cant change gender in virtual game. Kirito vs Untouchable - Kirito used his experience and reaction time to beat that. Kayaba designed sao so that monsters npc have expressive eyes if i remember right. in Sao , one mistake can cost your life so they need to predict enemys movement ( kirito know that they look at where do they wanna do sword skills or target by looking at their eyes ) so if you look at clip again , anime showing untouchable's eye lot. Kirito didnt look at any prediction lines he just look at his eyes and dodged. and his gut feeling he honed in sao saved him from frying with that energy bullets.

According to the LN, it figures it out using brainwaves, so if yours are too similar to the other sexes, a legit mistake can happen. Kirito looks like a guy with long hair to me. Then again, when I had hair like that, people sometime thought I was a girl. My wife found it annoying.
