Yeah...because Fair Use doesn't mean fuckin shit. Unless you plan to take them to court, they whine to KZbin, who then slams you. And because they can tie you up in litigation until you fuckin die, you can never ACTUALLY dispute it. Yes, legally, all these channels and such are wholly in the right (with some exceptions). But it doesn't matter if you can't hold it up in court, and nobody can fuckin afford to do that. Law doesn't matter unless it can stand up in court. Period. You can't afford a lawyer good enough, for long enough, to win the case. And that whole part of settlements where the losing side pays the legal fees of the other (some of the time, at least)...that's a reimbursement... You still have to pay your lawyer in the meantime. It's just that part of the settlement is to reimburse you for that cost. Nobody can handle that long enough to actually win. So, all the big studios and such get away with crushing small creators, because they can afford to, regardless of the law. That's how it is...EVERYTHING is legal, even what's "against the law"...for a price. And corporations and billionaires can always afford that price.
