thorin pollreisz TL;DR technology wise there’s no way Eugeo could be a copy of Kirito’s fluctlight they would have had to copy Kirito’s fluctlight almost 20 years ago (I think he’s 19 by this point? I don’t remember) in order for Eugeo to have been a copy of Kirito going based off of what was explained. Almost 20 years ago in world would put it more than a decade before Kayaba created SAO and the nerve gear. In world, technology wise, it wouldn’t add up. SAO and VR was the game changer of the world which set the premises for everything that followed. Unless Rath just kept Eugeo in storage for years only to just break him out and insert him into underworld by this time, there’s just no way he could be a copy.

@@SoaringxDragonit though they had stated time travels faster in the underworld, and if eugeo was kirito's fluctlight it could have been done easily during the first time he entered the underworld,which would explain why they see the same age, entering/being made in the underworld at the same time, and kirito leaving and having the whole beginning of the alicisation arc played out gave eigen the time needed to catch up to kiritos actual age

Aditya Sundaram the problem with that as is explained during the early moments in the arc is that when they copy a fluctlight it takes a 100% detailed copy of a person which includes their memories not just their appearance. This means that any copy of someone who has lived any substantial amount of time would have all of the memories, feelings, and personality of the original all the way up to the moment of the copy being made which would mean they know they themselves are a copy but since they have all of the memories of the original it was found that the copied fluctlights would suffer existential crisis. This is the reason they started copying fluctlights of babies since the copies would then have no life experiences to pull from and would then be unaware that the world they lived in (underworld) was in fact a created world made for an experiment run by people outside of their dimension. This is why Eugeo can’t be a copy of Kirito. Kirito is already a young adult by the time of Alicization playing a created account to interact with the game. This is the only reason Kirito appears young when the arc starts when we meet a young Eugeo and Alice. While they both are young and still growing, Kirito is just in a specifically created player avatar like how Asuna using the goddess Stacia account, not an actual goddess, just an account avatar with limited admin privileges. The time dilation difference between underworld and the real world was so the world would establish itself and the civilization made up of copied baby fluctlights would age and live on their own. This doesn’t in any way affect Kirito’s fluctlight. He is still a young adult when he uses the young avatar but the difference is that he has his memories blocked, which is important to note because they could only block his memories since his memories make up his core, what makes a person a person. So again, and man was this long, the only way Eugeo could have been a copy of Kirito was if they copied Kirito when he was a baby and the technology doesn’t permit that happening.
