@lucyortiz2010 I can answer that for you (from my own personal experience, of course). As a Muslim, through my whole walk with "Allah,"I was pretty much taught that Christianity was false and that Muslims were the only ones going to Jannah (paradise). After coming out of it, I still held onto what that. However, I prayed to God one day, because regardless what religion I chose, I never lost faith that God was indeed real. I just wasn't sure what was the right way to follow Him. So I prayed and asked God to let me have a "spiritual awakening" so that I could find what the true way to follow Him war. That was about 2018. For the next 5 years following, I began to experience a lot of different things, but I kept feeling Jesus tug at my heart. Now, again, as an ex Muslim, I didn't think that was right. I fought really hard against that feeling of Jesus tugging, until one day, someone close to me asked me why. I said because Islam told me so, and they basically said "But why do you feel that way? You're not Muslim anymore." I honestly didn't know how to answer that. I had to look inside myself to figure out why, and I came to find that the only reason was literally because Islam told me so. So again, I prayed to God. I said "If Jesus is truly the way, God, I need you to give me a clear sign. I need you tell me in a way that I cannot deny it." More months passed. I found myself randomly listening to sermons, and these random testimonies of all different kinds of people began popping up on my KZbin. People from different backgrounds, different parts of the world. It's funny actually, because the ones that caught my attention the most were women who went from the occult to Christ. They ALL came to Christ, and eventually I started to think "If they're all saying the same thing, that Jesus is the only one who can truly save you, there has to be a reason." So again, I prayed to God for that clear sign (because I was stubborn lol). Then I was randomly listening to something one day and felt so much conviction, and I heard something inmy mind say "You're running from Jesus and you don't even know why. Why not just give Him a chance?" Well, I finally gave Him that chance. I've been Christian ever since 😁 He began to reveal so much to me. It was like my whole life was being explained to me over time; why I had to go through certain things. Why my family dynamic was the way it was. None of those answers ever came to me when I was Muslim, or even when I was just like "I believe in God. I don't claim religion." At this point, I've felt the presence of Christ and the Holy Spirit waaaay too many times to deny it anymore. I'm a full believer, and I'm on fire for Christ now. I want to keep that flame lit for the rest of my life ❤️

I went to the reunion tour because I was given free tickets a few months ago, and I’m telling you if I had not gotten free tickets I have would not have gone. All of his dancing throughout the whole three hours was inappropriate, something out of a nightclub, and just straight up raunchy! And to make matters worse; he had multiple outfit changes and all of them were shirtless suits. At a Christian concert. Kirk needs to just come out and say he is not interested in living as a Christian anymore. But the thing is with God, the fame and recognition doesn’t belong to you but the Lord Jesus. So you can’t take your Christian following with you! I think that why he is doing what he is doing, he can’t loose his Christian following because he would essentially loose his fame because his career is built on Christian music. So while he is playing as a supposed “Christian” he is using his Christian fame to get him into the secular world so he can start building his following there.

I only listen to worship music usually these days but I was listening to a couple of seemingly innocent secular songs yesterday and as i was singing some old thoughts started popping up in my head and it felt really wrong. The saddest part of all of this is that I truly discern that these big name people you’ve mentioned all had invitations to follow Jesus wholeheartedly at some point in their advancements career wise, but they denied Him for their riches and went to search for a corrupted belief system portraying itself as the real thing. The scripture that comes to my mind is Matthew 19:16-30 KJV when Jesus invites the rich man to forsake his riches and follow Him and be a disciple, but the rich man turned away from him in shame that he didn’t have it in him let go of what the world afforded him 😞

It's not appropriate at all. Even if it was his wife, it'd still be inappropriate to be carrying on like that as part of a worship service. Steve Harvey & Tyrese have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. These men confess Jesus is their Lord but their actions, verbal dialogues & lifestyles do not line up with the word.

Not sure about Steve Harvey, but I do think Tyrese is trying. He did an interview with Ruslan KD and it was eye opening. He definitely isn’t ashamed to call Jesus his savior whereas Kirk is as fake as it gets. Never really liked his music that much. Certain songs I liked but I always found it weird that he wasn’t singing or rapping but just talking then he would claim all the recognition. Expected him to at least give recognition to the backup vocalists. You don’t need talent to just say words. Yes he’s a producer but Kirk cares about himself than anyone else and a man like that will never put the kingdom of God first.

But have you not seen Tyrese's recent upload of his practically naked girlfriend whom he fornicates with, lying on top of him on the beach? Allegedly he uses OnlyFans cos his following list is filled with half naked young women. He recently went to the Middle East to get a meditation consultation with a guru. He supports 'love who you love' which means he sees nothing wrong with same sex relationships. Despite claiming to be a Christian for many years, he didn't even know the Prodigal Son parable, what does that tell you? He cusses & take God's name in vain on a regular basis with no self control & no regrets. Are these the actions of a Christian man who is trying? The man just simply tells on himself.
