The Wedding Band (Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo, Joey Castillo, Whitfield Crane, and Doc Coyle) is a relaxed project put together by Kirk Hammett after being hired to play at a wedding. Kirk brought his legendary friends for an exclusive performance at Cosmo Music. Watch as they absolutely shred their take on a timeless Black Sabbath classic.
Kirk Hammett spent the day with us at Cosmo Music - we had a conversation with him in our latest Rockstars In Cars series, he toured our music store, had a meet and greet with fans, left us some handprints, and brought his Greeny Les Paul and some friends for an incredible performance.
The Wedding Band is not just your typical cover band. Actually maybe they are... But the band members are certainly not typical. We're extremely excited to welcome Kirk Hammett joined by his good friends Rob Trujillo (Metallica), Whitfield Crane (Ugly Kid Joe), Doc Coyle (Bad Wolves), and Joey Castillo (Queens of the Stone Age) for a special event. This unlikely bunch plays all your favourite classic covers from bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, and more.

He keeps using "we" throughout the interview when talking about finding members. I did however look up the definition of rewrote and Mr. Webster says," write something again so as to alter or improve it". It appears the definition covers both our view points, lol. One thing is for sure we both like Sabbath, my favorite, so keep enjoying the great music. Check out cover band Brown Sabbath doing Fairies Wear Boots. The one where they are inside a little radio studio. If someone said their version was better than the original i couldn't argue, it's incredible. Drummer is excellent!
