I think the best 1 is Jimi Hendrix in 1969 at Woodstock but that's the beauty of America? We have all these sites where you can do and apply the right to Free Speech- Heck no, I've only heard versions of Hendrix at Woodstock in 69 - I wasn't even born in 1969 so sorry but if you thought oh that's only b/c you were there? Nope! Hey what did I say we have all of these sites where we can go and apply Free Speech hopefully, leading to great conversations the 1 problem is - "My way or the highway" see the problem w/ that is how or when do you get to use Free Speech? You don't so I'm talking about Hendrix, you are talking about Metallica but lets go passed that we're talking about Free Speech, BUT we are also talking about music and what? The Star Spangled Banner which just happens to be our country's song - See how its a GREAT thing ask me I'm sure a bunch of people will agree w/me on this our country's really screwed up right now ? Thinking I'm Democrat or 3rd party? Nope I'm Republican but I'm NOT afraid to say whoever comes in as our next Pres. I hope they clean this mess up? That's how to an adult to end a Political conversation. See I still dunno if you're Republican or Democrat but what did we base it on Music, and The Star Spangled Banner? Friend of mine kept acting like a kid in Jr, H,S, dropping The F Bomb on me almost every sentence um hello he's in late 30's, I'm in my early 40's I think so many women have turned him down he's so used to talking like that? It's like hello things haven't worked out for me either but I don't talk like I'm still in 7th grade?

They ran away from there country like pussies, shame on them. They call themselves Americans and run because they dont like who got elected in our republic
@thrasher20946 жыл бұрын
Christian Rosa It does though. I eat, drink, breathe, and live freedom everyday without the need for the national anthem or anything Uncle Sam type stuff. Being gung ho about the national anthem and flying American flags around doesn't make anyone more American than me. I don't even connotate the country with any of that stuff really. I represent the actual physical country we live in, and believe in true freedom to an extent that most Americans couldn't comprehend. I'm American enough to be able to be honest when our government is overstepping it's boundaries and is corrupt. I don't pretend that everything this country does militarily is the right thing either. I'll call a spade out when it's a spade. I don't hate any troops for fighting a war that isn't about freedom, ad I can't hate on anyone who believes they are actually killing people to defend their countries freedom. They're still out there experiencing hell, risking their lives in a war zone, it's just they've been deceived as to the reasons why they are there. Let's be honest here, the country has some serious work it needs to fix in order for us to be able to say this country is as great and as free as people make it out to be. Because I would love for our country to be as free as people claim it to be, I just understand that it isn't the case. Lying to yourself and other about the state of the country doesn't make you more American

What I like vs other versions from guitarists, is they turned it into a song with no ego moments. Such pros. It's a ballgame, not a concert and this really fit the moment.

It's basically a power chord but with an added octave for the 5th below the root. The fingering is the same as a power chord starting on the A string, just also put your index finger over the low E. It's a neat way to make your power chords nastier.

At this rate, they're gonna have to surgically remove that wah pedal from Kirk's foot before it _becomes_ the wah pedal. And yes, I know he's not the only guitarist who uses it, nor am I implying he shouldn't, I'm just pointing it out. This still sounds good regardless.
