O_O That is quite possible the best use of this song ever. Dear god, the editing for that was amazing. Hilarious. You actually made the 2009 movie fit the song. Bones' casting cinched it. It get even better when you consider that Spock and Kirk have been more seriously cast as Shakespeare's lovers before. Try contrasting the plot of Amok Time, and imagine what might have happened had Bones not been able to revive Kirk and explain to Spock immediately.

I’ve read a fic that is very loosely similar to the plot line/song plot of this amazing video a while ago. I’m going to go insane looking for it because damn it was good but I can’t remember which out of the hundreds of sites I read fanfiction in I read it on 😭 Fantastic job. I’m revisiting this fave. From a straight male raised in a strict household where homosexuals were never tolerated, star trek was celebrated as the best thing ever, and who never likes this song when its played anywhere, thank you so much for this video it was very well done and very easily bought me to the point where if Kirk and Spock started getting being romantic with eachother in the next movie id be like "Cool!" lol thanks again and keep doing what you are doing!
