My heart is broken after watching this video! 😢 McCoy was very close to death in "The Empath" and would have died if Kirk had been unable to move the Vians with his words. Can you imagine if it really ended that way? That would have been so depressing; we would have no more episodes (or movies!) with him, the trio would be broken... I wonder how Kirk would do without the balance of having both Spock and McCoy there to give advice? How would they deal with a replacement CMO? Anyway, good video!

Wonderful. I agree that the trio is not there in the reboot. One of the only complaints I have about it. But a big one, as the trio is so very very important in their lives and in Trekkies lives.
