Hi, I really wanted to get a video out, and couldn’t find a way at the time to do that. But, I stole this from a student of mine, his notes. This is the alto sax notes, and it cover most of the solo. You can transpose it to the proper key. Hope this helps Starts off with an intro to his own solo, and it’s based off of the major pen Bb C# Eb C# Then goes into a more singer/soul major pen in a mix with the melody of the song C# Eb F# Eb F# Bb(then 3 Bb’s) Ab A Ab F#(grace note/ trill), B______ Bb(scoops), Ab F#(4), F# Ab Altissimo Eb, F, then riff Bb scoop, Bb Ab F# Eb G# F#
