Awesome totally awesome, another fact about Kirk Whalum is he truly loves the Lord and walks the walk , Kirk personally helped me through a very rough time in my life, when I moved from my hometown Chicago to Florida, a few years ago, I had to Live out of my car,one day I was at the library on line listening To some of kirks music on his site and I simply left a comment of how much I loved his music and how much influence he was to me as a sax player musician, I didn't know he was online till

Man,,, I'm nearly positive that the drummer is JOHN FERRARO!!! He was in Larry Carlton's band, along with Kirk back in the 1980's and early 1990's!!!! Can somebody help me confirm this please?!?!?! By the way,, when Larry Carlton was shot in the neck/throat, in 1988, it was Kirk Whalum that gave Larry a blood transfusion to help save Larry~!~!~!~
