Kirkcudbright Primary School Bike Bus May 2024.

BIKE BUS. About once a month, the pupils of Kirkcudbright Primary School take part in a LEAP group. LEAP stands for Leadership, Expression, Action & Partnership. In P6, the focus of our LEAP group’ is Looking After the Environment. The nine of us decided to try to reduce the number of cars bringing pupils to school by forming a Bike Bus. A Bike Bus is a safe way for pupils to cycle to school together. Today we had our first ever bike bus. Mike & Jo - who did Bike ability Training with us - helped. So did Mrs Kelly - our class teacher, Leo - a keen cyclist Elspeth's Dad Peter. So that the whole school can take part in The Bike Bus, we REALLY need volunteers to help. You can be a parent or just a member of our community. It’s only one morning, once a month. PLEASE HELP US WITH OUR BIKE BUS.
