Kirsten Storms On Leave From 'General Hospital' After Brain Surgery

“General Hospital” viewers are saying a temporary goodbye to fan-favorite character Maxie Jones as actress Kristen Storms continues her recovery from brain surgery earlier this summer. The Soap Opera Network reported on Wednesday that Kirsten would be off the air “for the foreseeable future” while she’s on the mend. Kristina Wagner, who plays Maxie’s mom Felicia, tweeted in response to the news, “Sending love and prayers for a speedy recovery for our dear Kirsten.”

Hey Kirsten I had a craniotomy when I was a child blood clot on the brain. Thank god I did not know what was going on bcause I was in a coma. Anyways i cannot imagine how yo were feeling before the surgery. I would have been very nervous!! I will pray for you and your recovery. You are going to be fine! Thank god for thatword benign! What message is she giving young viewers who watch her as Maxie on GH? The wrong example of someone who's mentally ill, needs help, is super insecure and wants the spotlight on herself I understand it's only a show turning Maxie heel wasn't the right move. Hope Kirsten gets well recovers and comes back to GH as a dif character that would be awesome.
