Why are Brits whining about not being able to get on a plane with airborne germs for vacation when the U.K. is paradise ? I only wish I could have spent more time there. What a beautiful place . I would not get on a plane anywhere if I lived in the UK and all it has to offer. One day ... but unlikely because my husband and I are a bit old for overseas travel. It’s why I adore this channel and thank K&J for taking us on their journeys throughout this beautiful country.

What a beautiful garden, however I do not envy the gardeners with all that topiary to trim!!!. I watched a film not long ago called "Chesil Beach", and it was filmed down there. I think it is lovely to live in the countryside, where you can hear nothing but birds. Great video.

Every morning, when I see a new blossom, I feel happy, and it automatically brings a smile to my face. In other words, it makes my day. Views of the ocean so stunning and the gardens are something out of a fairytale...feeling so nostalgic and pray hubby can get a job transfer to the UK from the US! Beautiful video. I haven’t been much to Dorset since I was a kid, and it’s on my list of places to visit. But I have a bit of a long uk list of places. With covid though I do not mind staying in United Kingdom to see more of my home country than going abroad at present. Not going away anywhere this year but plan to have holidays away from home in ramsgate in 2022. I love visiting historical old houses etc so visiting mapperton will be on my list. Chesil Beach is somewhere I haven't been and it looks stunning . We live in a beautiful world and in these busy times we need to sometimes just sit and take it all in . We live in Nova Scotia and Lucy Maude Montgomery wrote the stories about Prince Edward Island which is one of our neighbouring Provinces. We have been there many times of course.
