Having lived in Scotland three years, I'd say to everyone who wishes to visit the UK, Edinburgh is a must, it's one of the the most delightful cities I've been too. Definitely need about three days there, and the east coast of Fife is quite wonderful too. If you go in August, Edinburgh has a huge festival and so does Pittenweem with its ten day art festival. The coast is a joy to walk and discover the tiny historic fishing villages. I'm really missing it, and my Christmases in Yorkshire with my sisters family, watching you two though is a wee taste of home. Happy Christmas from Golden BC everyone!

Just watched this. I love watching you guys bake. Totally gonna try those scones at xmas this year. Totally agree regards bucket list. Don't like the concept really. Being spontaneous is fun. I actually initially thought you were English Kerstin. I did not think of your name being German either. I have "another" German friend named Kerstin. Thanks for the Scottish comment. I am born and bred in Edinburgh. Moved to Sweden when I was 24...many years ago. But Scotland is still in my heart. I can recommend Stirling Castle and old town. We also know Cornwall very well. My daughter desperately wants to visit after watching Poldark. Well, hopefully we can all able to safely travel there when things improve and gradually function. Take care.

I love the same England as yours and it's such a big pleasure to watch your channel, the beautiful places you visit, your warm and welcoming home... Very fun to watch your channel. I’m an American, born, raised and still live in Los Angeles, Calif., but have always been a bit of an Anglophile. Even my home of over forty years looks like an English cottage (built by a Scotsman 90+ years ago). I happen to be German on my father’s side, but don’t speak it. Thank you so much Susan! Both our husbands are keepers :) I don't drink coffee I must say, maybe 2 or 3 cappuccinos a year, Joerg drinks coffee from time to time (we have a Jura machine in our kitchen) but we prefer tea. Merry Christmas to you as well.

Dear Kristen and Jorg...always delight to watch you ...was looking forward for a scones recipe as I love them so much with a cup of tea...so I will definetely try and I think I will use regular flower since no problems with gluten. As I enjoyed your victorian tea times me and my husband will treat ourselves for a high tea at a fancy victorian resort and I know I will think of you. Thank you for all the videos through the year, felt like I traveled through all those interesting historical places with you...it does broaden ones horizon. Hi Kirsten, I love your video. Thank you for converting the measurements for the recipe. I am going to try this recipe. My Great Great Grandma was the daughter of a military soldier station in Edinburgh Castle where they actually lived. So she born in Edinburgh Castle. They ended up here in Oregon somehow, so here I am. LOL! I hope I can go there one day. Later she and my Grandfather were the house managers of Delgatie Castle in Scotland to the Duke of Fife. You can still visit Delgatie Castle and stay the night. They also have a nice dining room. I wish you and both a very happy Christmas. Enjoy your trip to Germany. 'hi Kirsten&Jorge...those are some pretty decorated scones...with a cranberry scent..yes Jorge..I like the stronger dark teas too..of Himalayan herbs...and Indian tea.. sometimes the dark fruit tea...what teas does Kirsten like? I am not much of a scone eater but that recipe I might try to make...i am more into German..Czech... or English or Italian pastries..do you both like pastries..&what is your favorite?#mj1*

Thank you! As I said in the video I can't live without English breakfast tea and love Darjeeling as well. Joerg loves pastries, I can't eat everything as I have to eat gluten free so it can be a bit difficult but I used to love them in my 20s.
