I spent my entire morning trying to figure out why when I sculpt nails the sidewalls kept tilting upwards. This is the only video that explains matching the tip of the form to the lowest point so the sidewalls would be straight. Almost every video I've watched shows the form straight out from the nail, or the tilt is so slight that it appears straight. I love you Kirsty.

Definitely would love more back to basics for each nail shape! I love the art but the way you talked about the form placement and structure today is something I didn’t know and isn’t always discussed. Yes straight, yes follow the lines, but angling it down for a shorter pointy stiletto??? 😵 now I know how to try it for myself without getting ski-sloped nails. Please do a short ballerina/coffin nail back to basics! It’s the best shape for my nails and I’d love an in depth instructional basic video.

Kirsty, when using the acid based primer I see you don't let it dry out, is there a reason for this? I've always been told especially when using gel you have to wait for the primer to fully dry. Is it different when using gel? Xx

If you pinch with your thumbs especially down the length of the nails do you not risk over exposure from not fully set product?

AllThingsKerri usually the product closest to the body sets quickest, but the surface product is a close second because of the air temperature. The bits that take longest to set are usually in the middle ☺️ (think about when you put a pie in a dodgy microwave: all the way around the outside and underneath is red hot but the middle is freezing cold lol this is similar but the opposite temperature). The bits she’s pinching are set, but it’s the layer underneath thats still setting ☺️🙆🏼‍♀️

I know this might be a stupid question, I haven't long been qualified and had to buy cheaper brushes from a local beauty shop. However it keeps splitting at the end of the brush while I'm using it. I am using 'the edge' kolinsky brush size 8. I practice a lot too. I'm not sure whether it's just me or should I get a more expensive brush? I had my first client come to me and it was a disaster, my brush kept splitting and it was frustrating.
