How to cut a new Smile Line and a Design Change

Hiya Duck! In today's video, we are going to be setting this set up for a design refresh on Georgia but we are going to be keeping the same smile lines want to know how? Keep watching!
I'll start by removing the stones from the old set using an old set of nippers when I have most of the gems and 3D removed ill push back the cuticles and then ill jump across to my e-file where ill be using my cuticle bit were ill remove any non-living tissue from the cuticle.
Then I’ll move over to my de-bulking bit and I’ll reduce the thickness of the nail and remove the majority of that coloured acrylic.
Now I’m going to cut out the smile line starting with the debunking bit ill remove the colour from the free edge and get as close to that smile line as I can without cutting into that and then ill move across to my secret weapon bit so I can get closer in and have more control when I have remover the colour ill change my bit again to the Pink ceramic bit and I can use that to remove the topcoat from that nude acrylic.
Then I can use my 180 Grit file to resharpen that smile line and then we can dust those off give them a wipe over with a clean-up solution on a lint-free pad and we are ready to fill in these nails.
We will prime the natural nail with the Acid-free primer and then ill fill in the nail using strip tease I’ll rebalance the apex and that’s it for this video check back for the new design in the next one! T’Rah Duck!

I find more often it take me much more effort and time removing my old set then it does to do a simple nail design. Kirsty you always give great tips and tricks for doing nails. I love how Adam geeks out on Disney Mandalorian during mail filming. I know some hair stylists take notes on their clients with the color and stuff they do, so when the client returns, they know what they did last time. I wonder if that is worthwhile with nails- taking notes on whether you did a color acrylic or nail polish for the design so you would know what to take down when redoing a design. Maybe even keeping notes on clients who have sensitivity to certain brands or their preferences to style. This was a great video- really shows the practicality of redoing a design for a salon style instead of redoing a whole set. This was great to redo a smile line. Great tip on how to use the drill to cut out parts of a design. Thank you!

For years, when I first got my license, I used to redo my french the same way, and I got scoffed at by so many. Especially my instructor. It is the easiest, fastest way to recreate a smile line. And.....if you need to perfect it you have room to do so 😉❤
