When I used to get my nails done (approx. 10yrs ago) they would barely do cuticle care!! When I’d go in for a fill…forget about it!!! They wouldn’t do shit with my cuticles!! That’s only 1 of the reasons I learned to do my own nails!! Thank you so much for all your wonderful videos!!! You are truly AMAZING!!!! I absolutely love your content!!!

Late 90s for me, when I was getting them done. They made no attempt at blending or cuticle care, really. They might push them back, or oil them.

Small tip (you probably know this, but I will say it anyway) on cleaning the rubber mat : Use a lint roller!! That will pick up dust, hair and other nasties!! Even glitter and nail dust will stick to it. Lots of hugs rom KatLa Dragon in Norway

Your nails are amazing! After 3 weeks I find like half the product is lifting because my natural nails are nuts, polish peels off in a week. It doesn't matter how much I prep my nails or what brand I'm using lifting is an issue for me. I'm also brutal with files, I always cut myself. I recently got an infection in my eponychium exactly where a cut from my file had been. Your videos helped me to know to remove the product I had on it before I got antibiotics so I could see what was going on. I love the tip about the secret weapon bit, I'll be trying that from now on. You rock Kirsty.

I noticed you have twisted fingers like mine! I haven't seen anyone else with twisted fingers and so I've really struggled with applying nail tips and building my nails. When I look from one angle they look straight. When I flip my hand around and look at my bent fingers they look crooked and weird. I've found applying my tips and shaping my nails while they are flat extended seems to have them look best, but its hard to file that way. I always want to turn my hand around and work with my palm facing me/fingers bent. I've learned to apply my tips to line up with how the nail grows and not to try to correct it to look straight. When corrected they still look weird and I've learned that my crooked and turned in nails look best even tho they aren't straight. Do you have any tips for creating nails on crooked and twisted fingers??

Try mixing water and baking soda to make a paste and use that to gently exfoliate the fake tanner off your hand... no aggressive scrubbing.. but apply and gently rub it where the tanner seems to sit in those crevices..

Always pleases me to watch use your nails 💅🏻 are beautiful 🤩 I get what your saying about keeping the lamps to the same make how ever if your like me but your not 😂 I can’t afford to buy great named products I have to always sadly use a mix of cheap stuff and only the one lamp for all sadly I really would love nothing more then to feel what a better product feels like to use I suffer with mental health problems as well as being disabled and nails 💅🏻 really do lift my moods and emotions keeping my bad thoughts at bay why learning then feeling so proud of my self for my achievement not that perfect but I give it a go it does get me down I can’t use better products as I think to myself I wonder if be better with better tools and more opportunities to do more styles if had the items I loved getting in to this but little did I know would be so difficult to afford what is needed but still I love ❤️ watching use and spending that time with use still cheers me up and great education I do really appreciate thanks very much 💅🏻💅🏻❤️❤️🥰🥰🤩🤩

And you just mentioned it at 5:36 , that you like to review a bunch of product brands, but you've only been using Nailchemy, so can you start really using other brands? And I thought it would be a really good idea for you to start your own nail company, like create and formulate your own acrylic recipe, selling different colored acrylic or gel or polygel? Have you ever thought of starting your own brand? And not just private labeling but actually formulating an acrylic or gel system/polygel system?
