Essential tremors are sort of the opposite of Parkinson's. The muscles tend to tremor when they're activated, so trying actively to hold still can make it worse. Being anxious or excited exacerbates them as well. Something for a client to rest their hand on that would hold their finger still for them would be brilliant.

I have tremors and they are hell to live with. People who look at their phones, cough, fidget etc have a choice. Sadly we don’t.

Those trays are used in diamond painting, but they are super useful for applying gems to your nails. 😊

One of the reasons I've been learning to do my own overlays is because I can't stop my fingers migrating to the wrong position for the tech to do easily. They get annoyed and there's nothing I can do about it. I was starting to think old women are not welcome in salons when we can't control our arthritic digits. So I'm saving myself the bother.

That is sad to hear you say that you don't think older clients are welcome due to movement in the fingers that cannot be controlled. I had a serious accident earlier this year my left hand has fingers on it now that I cannot control if they start moving,but my beauty therapists are very understanding when they do my gel polish mani,they are very accommodating and kind.❤

Yep. When the techs might react like this about something that people usually cannot control, it's no use even trying. She is horrible for talking & bitching about like she is. She didn't even do anything to help like hand rests or anything either

In a salon situation that would be really bad and I'd be sharing the hell out of it. In this video the context is different, being friends, so I don't have an issue with that. I haven't had to cop bad treatment, but know it does make it harder for the techs to do their job, so learning to do my own saves me money, and bad feeling at both ends of a salon transaction. @@HeartkillerHIM

I have CRPS on my left side and I get “jump tremors” they are exactly what they sound like - your sitting there minding your own business and all of a sudden a body part will jump and 🫨 shake it almost always happens when someone else is doing my nails and the more I try to stop or worry the worse it gets😹Love the nail so happy to see the darling Fay again and I live in Canada and pay a outrageous amount of money on shipping just so I can get my hands on those beautiful crystals from Crystal Parade for my “good nails”

They use those trays for diamond painting. To put the diamond beads in and they sit right side up and use a tool like you have to pick them up

QUESTION: What do you call them tiny wooden sticks with the small little cotton piece on the end? I want them but i cant find them bc i dont know what to look up! 😢😢 i tried small q-tips and alot of other similar verbage but nothing like what you have ever pops up! So the tray works because of the curve/flat dynamic of the crystals. The curve provides a little ramp for the lines in the tray to flip the gem over. But once it's on the flat side there isn't the same leverage to flip the crystal again. You'll notice the ones with the pointed backs don't flip the same and end up face down because their shape has a curve on both sides.
