Ombre/French | A New Way to Ombre

Hiya duck
We’re going to do an ombre French nail, not a French ombre.
We’re starting with base coat, for MAXIMUM ADHESION and then I’m going to get my colours ready. I’m going to pop Sham on the bottom half of the nail first, and then use Mr Buttons, clean our brush off and then use that huge brush to fade Sham back towards the cuticle. I’ll repeat with Ibiza on the other nails and then use Poltergeist in the same way but from the cuticle towards the free edge. I’ll then do a second layer of that and Top Coat.
I’m going to buff all the nails and then use Fynn for my French tip. I’ll finish with Bling, of course.

Red ombré and black tips for a bit of goth. Sage green ombré with rich brown tips for earthy feel vibes. Lemon ombré with pink tips for pink lemonade feels. Blue ombré with sandy tips for beachy days.

Ohmygod, Kirsty, you better get Fay to the doctor quickly. I think she's lost her mind or all that snow has froze her brain 🧠 🤔. I know I did not just hear her say that when she comes back from her ski trip that she is not going to get long nails again, OMG that just blew my mind. Well only time will tell if she sticks to that plan but I don't know for some reason I don't see that happening with her because she loves her extra-long nails too much. Thanks for sharing this video with us although I wasn't particularly fond of the colors I love the whole concept of the ombre and the French. I never missed a video from you and I truly enjoyed watching you you are so funny and so full of life but more than anything you are phenomenally talented there is no one that does nails like you do. You are the very first nail technician that I ever started to follow, and I have learned so much from you. I have been a nail tech for 37 years and you're never too old to learn something new. Keep doing what you're doing you and Adam have a fantastic relationship and I think it's so refreshing to see the two of you in the action. Congratulations on all your success I can't believe when I started following you you were working on the naio Nails Channel and you were so young and you seem kind of timid but not known more that flower bloomed and created the woman that I watch in front of me all the time and I'm so glad that I've been able to witness you grow and change. I know what it's like to go through menopause it is no picnic I used to sleep with the air conditioner and the fan on in the middle of winter cuz I would wake up soaked and I mean literally dripping wet soaked at night and my hormones were all over the place but then I was rushed to the hospital and I had an emergency partial hysterectomy and guess what no more menopause everything stopped it was so wonderful. Staying with the blue tip, green, purple, pink or a baby blue would have all looked good. Of course anything goes with a black tip, orange and yellow would be great for Halloween. Pinks & Reds for Valentines and or goth. Blues, greens and purple for under the sea Mermaid effect. I could go on and on.. Not sure about putting gel cleanser in my acrylic brush - I don't want to dry it out or wreck my acrylic brush - it cost $50. Are you putting your brush back into monomer, to clean out and store?? Cat 😊
