Hi there, and thank you very much for your comment! I'm very happy to hear that you like my channel! Regarding your question, I think every place had their own tradition and they just maintained what they followed. There is a Sakhi where Guru Sahib encouraged a Sikh to read Rakhya de Shabad before Kirtan Sohila every night. Many Sampardas today still maintain that tradition and some (such as Nanaksar), have even more Shabads in addition to the Rakhya De Shabad. When we study the Puratan literature and Rehatnamas, we find many references where Guru Sahib used to encourage reading shabads from both Granth Pothi (Guru Granth Sahib Ji) and Bachittar Natak (Dasam Granth) before bedtime. In the 52 Hukams, it is stated that the Salok of Jap Ji Sahib should be read before going to bed as well. At Hazur Sahib it seems like all of this was taken into account and as such they've maintained this longer version of Kirtan Sohila when compared to other places.

Isn't t series video copyright?
@TDTS2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is, and the copyright of any video belongs to its original owners (which in this case is T-Series). I simply wanted to translate the Kirtan Sohila prayer [done at Hazur Sahib] and by the Hazuri Singhs into English and point out where exactly the sections of the prayer are derived from [in SGGS and Dasam Granth], for educational/research/non-profit purposes. The Kirtan Sohila prayer done it Hazur Sahib is much longer than the versions recited elsewhere. As such, I believe this would qualify under the Fair Use/Fair Dealing doctrine. I also believe T series plays ads on my video ands takes any and all of the revenue generated from those ads/views.
