It appears the more ethnically diverse a country is, the more the beauty. Ethiopia is great , the last conversation you held with the gentlemen clad in traditional attire in readiness for new year celebrations typifies the real genuine African vibe and warmth that you cannot find anywhere .

Nice video...stop at Wondo Genet and Langano. Loved those two places. King Haile Selassie had a summer home in Wondo Genet. It also has hot springs. I never liked Shashmane. Too many hustlers..they all think you there to smoke ganja and try to take advantage. Be ware of them

Understood. Sad, because the idea behind granting that land was development, not begging, hustling and non-productivity.

Haile Selassie granted his land for the return of any African in the diaspora not just Rastas. In fact, the first 67 people who returned were not Rastas, but members of the Commandment Keepers Church from Harlem, NYC.

@PaulFos
@PaulFos 9 ай бұрын
@@USSEIN_WAJEER That's recent. We're talking about the early reign of Haile Selassie. The first invitation came during his regency in 1919 and 1922. The second came in 1931 as emperor, and the land grant of 5 gashas came post restoration during the silver jubilee year of 1955. Ghana (Gold Coast colony) was property of the British empire during all those years.

What I experience or learn from your travels It is about Culture and Nature Travel Exploring domestic life styles of locals in their natural state Sincerely Ejike Ememe Ba Hons Degree Administration I failed to comment on your reaction to having the picture of a European Monarchy the King of Belgium on the High streets of Namibia. You only have to be in government to realise the limitations of true power True power can sometimes mean no power at all Africa has no power at all especially after independence Power or absolute power is at the hands of people who control means of production ie Europe and America Especially when we love our mobile phones and laptops and all other forms of Westernisation. Africa also has to borrow to achieve a lot of its goals thus further diminishing its ability to determine terms of self control It is a bitter pill to swallow however it is the fact The European pictures you encounter in your travels is only a means to an end or for better bargaining terms. The laptop which you grave and cannot produce yourself is the very reason why the picture of European Monarchs still hang over our heads.
