Hello sorry for the comment you mention “leaving? Going” or “living? Staying in a place?” I know English spelling is sometimes confusing but one must be certain about spelling before posting a comment. Why? Because readers might think that all Armenians don’t know how to spell. Sorry again and take care.

@@georgehagop6718 First off, it’s not his native language. Second, if you know English well, then you also need to pay attention to your punctuation. There is a comma after “hello” and before “but.” Also, it’s not “mention” but “mentioned.” Educate yourself first before calling out others. Take care and be kind.

Tsakhadzor is a resort town and summers and winters are good money making seasons. If you have anything to do with Yerevan it’s going to be difficult. If you need to buy a car, you should get a Niva if you are going to live in Tsakhadzor. Easier to fix and very reliable and for that area it is the best. Don’t be intimidated with many men showing up together. They probably were hanging out and decided to come together. Armenian men are always together hanging out. It’s like the old Italian culture you see in movies without the mafia part.

Dear people in the comments, if you think about moving to Armenia, here is a piece of advice if you need one. Economy of Armenia is actually horrible. Make sure you have stable income from outside, because salaries there are very low and it's actually impossible to survive even with double income. So if you have a business in US or work remotely, I am more than sure you can have a beautiful and comfortable life in Armenia. Otherwise, hoping to find a job there and live with that salary will be tricky.
@AmericaninArmenia18 күн бұрын
@@emma966 I agree. Not sure what salaries are here, but probably quite low.

@@AmericaninArmeniaif it’s a entry/mid level job we’re looking at $200 a month. Wife used to work at post office that’s how much she made. On its own it’s very low. You probably need around $1500 and up if you’re in Yerevan including rent more or less. Outside job is a must unless you work in the US embassy or tech jobs. The good thing is most people own homes and don’t rent. Outside of Yerevan almost all own their own homes but in rural places they lack quality of life stuff and some don’t even have heating in winters. I can go more in detail later if you like.

Among 'old school' Armenians, it's a combination of having translators not just for language but for cultural differences. The fact that a non-Armenian language speaker is interested would lead to the 4 people being there. I'm sure if I were there, as an Armenian who doesn't speak Eastern Armenian and coming from the US, they would do the same. Armenians, when it comes to business, can be very 'hands on' type and have a hard time delegating.

I live in Armenia and would like to have American citizenship so that I can live in the United States. Armenia has a mandatory 2-year military service for men, which is very dangerous, considering the military conflicts that occur here a lot.
