Gotta remember that having the rinnegan drained him on a lot of his chakra, factor that in with code not being able to absorb jutsu meaning sasuke could use more of his tool kit unlike against otsutsuki, and code prob underestimated him like crazy, so u know 🤷

Chapter 7 prediction rebirth of team 7 , boruto about too knock some since into mitsuki, he will find out the truth by exchanging blows with boruto , he will fall in line with sarada and sumire to watch over Aida , Damon , kawaki , and Amado , while boruto protect them in the shadows . Aida told Lord 8 about the shinju but leave out the part about Naruto for kawaki sake . But shikamaru knows he alive bcuz of boruto.
