Kisofukushima sightseeing with a trace of Edo period｜Early summer｜4K SDR

The town of Kisofukushima is located along the Kiso River, which winds between some of the steepest mountains in Japan, with Mt Kisokomagatake to the east and Mt Ontake to the west. The elevation is about 800 m above sea level at the centre of the town, which was historically a major transport hub and even today is the centre of Kiso County, served by buses from Shinjuku and the Chuo Main Line.
This time, we took a walk around Kisofukushima Station and other historical places.

中山道は別名女街道と言われ、東海道のように難色が少なく、その分距離はありますが比端的に女性が多かったようです。今は列車でスーとあれはワイドビューしなのですね。大阪長野間いっぽんで行けます。善光寺さんに亡き父と行きました。木曽福島は昔の風情が随所に河の流れと時間の流れ乗り物間を楽しめるところです。

峠一つ越えるだけで生活様式が変わったり家屋の作りも差異が感じられる。どちらかに長年住まないとわからないだろうが、以前の動画と今回の動画があらためてそういう事に気づかせてくれる。まだ権兵衛トンネルを通った事がないが、いつの日か帰郷の折に通り抜けてみたいと思ってます。
