Best episode to-date. I have not listened to all your episodes, but from the ones I’ve listened to, this was by far the most informative. She had detailed science based answers to all your questions. Loved every minute of this podcast. Thanks.

It sounds like adding DE to compost is a viable way to make the Si plant available, is that right?

I believe so based on what I got from the interview myself.

Great episode. My first crop I ran a MSA and had good results. I didn’t put it in my second and my stems felt more fragile, and the plant stressed easier than previous run. Anecdotal, but adding it back in next run.

Also curious why manufactures of liquid MSA typically recommend cutting it out around week 3 of flower. Is their some effect on the flower? Thanks.

Pretty sure I listened intently but did you cover foliar versus drench application of silica? Thanks Tad & guest!

This episode was a very informative gem on an apparently under rated element. I have only ever heard heavy emphasis on Si supplementation in the Bio dynamic gardening literature I've read. Most articles/ books say the presence of Si was hi enough to not see a deficiency.

lol I'm doing my best! It takes a lot of work to find the right guests, have them agree to come on the show, and then find a time in our schedules that lines up.
