Searching in the darkness Running from the day Hiding from tomorrow Nothing left to say Victims of the moment Future deep in doubt Living in a whisper till we start to shout We're creatures of the night We're creatures of the night Breathing in the madness Spitting out the lies Searching for an answer Keep your alibis Don't know where we're goin' Just know where we've been Remember when the clock strikes twelve The losers always win We're creatures of the night We're creatures of the night Searching in the darkness Running from the day Hiding from tomorrow Nothing left to say Gathering up our courage Ready for the fight Howling in the shadows Till we start to bite We're creatures of the night

@pts52175 жыл бұрын
Adrian Jenkins Critcs are the worst. They judge bands based on trends and what they already think of past albums. Radiohead, Coldplay, Pearl Jam, and U2 all released garbage after great albums and were given glowing reviews. Critics were still judging Kiss on The Elder and Unmasked for this one. (Both albums actually had great moments but they also had duds that ruined it)

Great album. I was just reading Paul's new book and he said Eddie Van Halen stopped by and listened to that solo while they were working on the album and trying to find a replacement for Ace. He said Eddie was really impressed with the guitarist (Steve Farris). In the end, it didn't work out and they went with Vinnie Vincent.

At this time of the century, music began to change. This KISS music, was what was to shape the future of rock and roll, well into the 90"s. Paul has always tried to bring an authentic brand of Rock and Roll for future legions to fallow. Give it your all. I dare you to keep up.

Saw them in San Francisco W/Motley crue opening. Still the best concert I've ever seen to this day. Somebody nailed Paul right in his left hand with a hair brush and he went off on the guy for 5 minutes ,, ahhh great rock and roll moment. there was a near riot outside while waiting to get in and Bill Grahm came out and calmed everybody down. never been called an asshole with such passion before lol, good times.

@Supertron15 жыл бұрын
Even though Lick It Up sold way more copies, i think Creatures of the Night is actually what saved KISS in terms of their musical direction. If MTV and rock stations had done more to promote the album and Ace Frehley could have playrd on the album and at least some of the concerts, maybe it would have done better commercially. Plus Dynasty, Unmasked, and Music From The Elder had alienated fans of their hard rock material.
