There's a good reason this had never been played live before.

The best songs off Sonic Boom are Russian Roulette, and Yes I Know (Nobody's Perfect), both Gene songs.

It's an old Asylum demo that Gene did in '85. Same with Russian Roulette

It's typical generic Gene,it has its good parts except the chorus , too ....,pick anything from Dynasty on,it was like he ran out of creative stuff and just went his formulaic song structure . Don't start hating on me either , I've payed my dues in the KISS army, didn't miss a tour from love go until I walked out of an Asylum show , I couldn't take it. Then the reunion , where I lost my mind ,and a good pile of cash ,but would do it again . Now , it needs to stop . 1 short tour with Ace,video the last show with Peter playing one or 2 songs and put a stake through it !

Michael Skewes you nailed it. Pauls vocals is in the very last stage of deterioration. And to hear him struggle to barley hit the note even with the down tuning they are using, makes my throat hurt. And Gene is appearing in the spotlight as much as he can like Fox News and got banned for acting a fool,as well as other pointless publicly stunts just to remain semi relevant. Not and mention selling this overpriced chest filled with music and memorabilia and bringing it to the buyer personally with a hefty price tag of $2000. And even giving the fan the opportunity to hang out, participate in a jam session or even assisting them in the studio for an additional 25k. Not that he doesn't have enough money already. But the idea of having too much doesn't exist at the ki$$ empire. Now after years of the rumors around the campfire of a possible version of kiss without Gene and Paul, are now in revealed. It came right from the deteriorating voice of Staney himself. "We are replaceable too" he quoted. Also pointing out the KISS is more about the characters instead of who is behind them. Please!!! They are a half a tribute band already, and hiring Eric and Tommy having somewhat of a credit for their stay in semi popular bands, well Eric's mostly, and Tommy not as much. It still doesn't make up the star power to stack up to the ones who not only created, but made the iconic characters, two of the most recognizable faces in the world. Singer is a great drummer and plays with conviction, and has indeed did Justice to the Kiss sound making them sound tighter in a live situation. And Tommy seems to be good at what he does from what little I know about him, form black and blue and a kiss for band. They are in it for the check, and considering the costumes as a required uniform. Just as a nurse, a police, or an employee McDonalds would have to honor the uniform policy. If they were allowed to have the freedom to create there very own persona it would be best of an issue. But for them to have to dress, act, and play in the style of frehley, and Criss, because Gene and Paul are dead set on keeping it as the Demon, Starchild, Spaceman (formally Space Ace, as portrayed by Ace of course,) and Cat Man. Is deceitful to the fans, and to Peter and Ace. Which in My opinion makes me think that is where the new Kiss line up comes to play. I am getting the impression that maybe they mentioned replacing themselves to be fare to Ace and Peter. That's just what went through my head at times. Again I show love for Kiss and always have. Just not this version. Except for the musical aspect but it is very difficult to overlook the situation. But in a nutshell The once iconic Bands that we loved and because of all the reasons that are no longer there now is on are way to the grave very fast I can't see them making it through the next year. The once one of the greatest rock bands in the world has become a multi million dollar train wreck. And I will not support the all new unoriginal version of Kiss. I I can see a kiss tribute aty local night club for $20.
