KISS is such an underrated band, not in terms of record sales, but in terms of artistic value. Even music nerds often don't know how eclectic this band actually is.

KISS was the one of the most popular bands at one point 40+ years ago. You can't call them underrated. There stuff just didn't age well like Queen's did (for obvious reasons). Second, saying these things on this song is a bit odd given it is a song where they are trying to convince their girlfriend to have sex with them

And since you brought up Queen: In particular most of the songs everybody knows ("We are the champions", "I want it all", "Radio Gaga", "We will rock you") aren’t very deep either, I would argue they are even shallower. If you deep dive into the complete body of work, things look different, for both bands. In case of KISS to the surprise of many.

I saw kiss over 15 times and first time I was 11 in 1978. Kiss was an Epic band that knew how to give their fans everything. I have met them 3 times they are so courteous and take time to talk to you. Please look into a Band called WASP and sleeping in the fire - I think an acoustic would be something else… Great job !

The Hottest Band in the Land KISS !!!!!!!! I saw KISS live 1976 in the Montreal Forum. It was a Hockey Stadium home to the champion Montreal Canadians NHL. We drove in from NY and took the Metro (subway) into Montreal. The place was electric with excited people, the vibe even on the subway was something BIG was about to happen, there were cool people, punk people, rockers, moms and dads and kids.. Everyone was anticipating. We walked for blocks in the Canada cold to the Forum. After Starz finished the opening act it was KISS..and my jaw dropped in awe. NO one has a better concert than KISS in their heyday.... Listen to KISS "ALIVE Album...headphones...kick back. They had Marshal Speaker Stacks on both side of the stages, pyrotechnics. Beams of colored lights ran thru wires above the audience, in the end confetti snowed down in changing colors as they rocked FIREHOUSE...red blue green purple orange. KISS Kicks ASS........... Watch KISS MTV Unplugged. Go Violet
