on my personal opinion, 1998 was the best year of the whole KISS career, they were just rocking all the globe, it was a wonderful lineup, proving each night you don’t have to be a virtuosso to be the king of the world, Ace was playing amazing, Paul’s voice was just awesome, Gene was the demon again and Peter was kicking those drums with passion and soul, just an amazing tour, great setlists an unforgettable performances

About the only really good thing I can say is Paul was still bringing it. His vocals were great at this show and his guitar sound was also great. Ace’s finger tone is still one of my favorites and his playing was a bit better here than the reunion tour. Gene has been very consistent through the years with his vocals and playing. Peter sounds like he’s going through the motions. When Peter was hungry the first couple years of the band, he played great. He lost it pretty quickly. It’s really too bad because he inspired a lot of players and it went downhill pretty quickly. I’m not a fan of this album or tour but this show has the band in pretty good form

no issue with the band in this video , just age , which happens you know? when you get older , not a lot of aces solos during the reunion up until the farewell tour were spot on like the records , they kept the same flow but , was mainly improv .. ace had a little bit of wiggle room during this time to play with the solo's a bit, I thought minus the first few shows's the 4 years they were back together , put on incredible shows , I went to 5 during that time and can say that with confidence.

Peter's drumming could not have been more uninspired. Horrible!!! He couldn't even do the single-roll fill around the kit?? This should show once and for all that his playing didn't only deteriorate, but it vanished. He has nobusiness playing on a stage like that anymore and should be greatful he had a 2nd chance at all. Embarassing!!!!!!!!!!!!

@@stevedonahue7956 that and Peter was also using triggers on his drums. Meaning that he could literally tap them and it would sound like a cannon shot. He was in bad shape due to carpal tunnel at this point .
