Their background but it's the quicknotes version: (you gotta look into them more yourself, seriously) Julie - Ballet since she was little since childhood up until about 13, is from Hawaii, knows how to do traditional Hula, former trainee under YG Black Label. Oldest, Leader, a Main Dancer, the Main Rapper, Sub Vocal, makes choreography. Natty - Trainee for over 10 years at multiple companies. Left Thailand alone at 10 to come to Korea and has had a very hard road to get to this point of debut (she's 22 now). Has been on multiple survival shows and companies (7-8 I think), was in JYPE, was at SM (shared a dorm with some Red Velvet members like Joy) almost debuted with Twice, debuted as a solo artist before. Literally everyone in the industry knows her or is friends with her cause she was not only a trainee so long but an extremely talented trainee, she's been able to dance and sing at a high level since she was a young. Only didn't make the Twice lineup cause she was too young at the time, not cause she wasn't good enough. 2nd show she was on was proven to be rigged. She's had a hard time. Everyone, not just idols but senior idols, choreographers, trainers/teachers, CEOs like JYP, etc. know, support and respect Natty. Main Dancer, a Lead Vocal, also makes choreography. Belle - Was a songwriter and composer first behind the scenes, never planned to become and idol but they asked her and she said yes thank god lol Her father Shim Shin is a famous singer from Korea, she's originally from Seattle. Was at a songcamp at SM. Has written and produced like half of their songs as well as other soloists and groups songs (she just hasn't had as much time lately cause they're obviously extremely busy but she still wrote their new B-Side Te Quiero, another banger) Main Vocal, Songwriter, Composer. Haneul - Really talented trainee, obviously has the least experience so far but is very quick at learning stage presence and has grown fast because all the rest of the members have so much experience and she learns well. Lead Vocal (has a very strong voice, she auditioned with a Jessie J song), also plays the Guitar, Maknae. Thank you for all the details!! Also the fact that Belle and Haneul haven’t had much dance training beforehand but still managed to hone their skills in such a short amount of time & keep up with Julie and Natty is incredible. They’re such a powerhouse group and it’s amazing how much creative freedom & participation they have within their company too
