Love to see rookies (or more accurately, their COMPANY) not afraid of live vocals with no backing track. Thank you KIOF and their company for injecting a much needed dose of reality into the kpop scene. Fans don’t need “perfection,” they want a certain level of authenticity and honesty.

미쳤다 이건 4세대가 문제가 아니다. 이정도 춤 퀄리티로 이 정도 라이브 되는 가수 자체가 없었다. 무대를 위해 하나는 포기하는게 정석이지.... 미쳤다 나노단위 춤을 추면서 노래하는게 물리적으로 가능한 일인가 ㅎㅎ 연습량이 예상되서 눈물이 날 정도...

i love that they are not afraid to sing live and make small mistakes during the performance while having fun on the stage. it just shows how much practice they had to be able to sing stable during live with hard dance moves. it's such a breath of fresh air, not to mention they are rookies!

I think a lot of people didn't realise it is so FUCKING HARD to dance and sing at the same time. Especially when both of the difficulty is high. Not gonna compare KIOL with any groups, but you can see somthing from the previous main vocal groups. Like Mamamoo, they have a relatively easy choreography(before Hip era) so they can execute the vocal easier. They did a legit stage. So much respect that they did Fire on full mic and the rest with little back track.

other groups of the 2nd generation and 3rd generation sang live and had harder choreo too. it’s just that the main focus now is on robotic perfection, so companies think that if we hear a vocal break or strain, we’ll come at the group with pitchforks. also mamamoo started having harder choreo earlier with gogobebe not hip. and in the beginning of their career they sang in super high heels, so that made singing and dancing at the same time harder

@@bastetowl3258 The difference lies in the structure of the choreography, in the 2nd and 3rd gen, although the choreographies were difficult, they were designed so that they could sing while dancing (Ex: GFriend for Me Gustas Tu, Rought, Navillera, etc. they did not have torso movements while they They sang in addition to the fact that 1. The member who sang had a more simplified choreography or one different from the other girls so that she could sing correctly 2. The vocal technique was adapted to the movement, if it is a very abrupt movement they were going to use Belting and not Falsetto which is more difficult to maintain in a sudden movement). Now all the choreographies are focused on being Visual and not practical like the choreographies of New Jeans, Le Sserafim, Ive, etc. The only ones that are saved from this error are the choreographies of NMixx and Kiss Of Life

@@elithluxe7568 No, it is not because they are different, it is because of the training they are given, Belle and Haneul being the vocalists of Kiss Of Life are obviously going to have better stability than Natty or Julie because they are trained specifically for that. Most companies today take the vocal for granted and do not train it, what's more, companies prefer to invest in classes and courses on How They Should Model, How to Pose on Camera and especially in VISUAL and Performative Choreographies, the 2nd and 3rd Gen. They have proven that they can have Visual and Performative choreographies but BE PRACTICAL TO SING. A current example would be NMixx, although their choreographies are difficult, they are well trained in singing and their choreographies allow them to sing live despite being difficult.

What I love about this group is it looks like they genuinely love performing, you don't see that with idols nowadays. Natty and Julie are the main slayers on this group for sure while Julie and Haneul are the backbone of the group vocal wise, I hope they blow up as big as the top 4th gen ggs.

this is a true live performance, i love it so much its so much more enjoyable bcuz u can feel the hardwork and authenticity of the artists. plus their stage presence is even more elevated with live vocals

ohmygod it's been so long since I have seen artists truly enjoy performing with confidence and charisma. Haneul is much more confident in this comeback and their chemistry with each other is so heartwarming.

Julie has such a Jennie-likeness to her. I see Jennie in her a lot. Before anyone attacks me, yes Julie is her own person, has her own swag and charisma. She truly is an individual. Im loving how she is enjoying this stage to the fullest. Shine bright girls! I love Kiof sm T_T

@@iloveminjeong01 she was supposed to be in a bigger group with the BP members and other idols like Miyeon and Seoyeon called Pink Punk. Also known as Future 2NE1. The other trainees all left/were made to leave. And eventually our four girls debuted as BP.
