I know everyone is talking about her Beyoncé cover, but I personally prefer her Lyn cover too! So gorgeous and sincere, it’s hard to believe she’s only 19 😮‍💨 And I also really love her duet with Lee Mujin, and how she’s not afraid to look at him while singing. Some of the idols that he’s sung with seems allergic to eye contact lmao 😭 but here she keeps looking over at him while still being aware of her own camera, and it just makes the performance more emotionally intimate and engaging. It hasn’t even been a year since she’s debuted, but she seems as if she’s had years of experience!

I'm not an avid listener of Kiss of Life. I only stumble upon their music here and there while scrolling through KZbin. But I watch this whole episode and I wanna say a few things. First of all, I'm only a casual music enjoyer with no proper vocal knowledge, but even I can somehow sense that Belle has this sort of sophisticated vocal technique. Whenever I saw contents on YT about "Kpop vocal ranking" or "Kpop best vocalists", it was mostly always about who can hit the highest notes, or who has "support" (something I've a heard a lot but still had no idea about lol). Meanwhile, obviously in this episode, Belle didn't throw about those high and higher notes, yet my untrained ears can still sense how good her singing is. Her vocal just sounds... wholesome (?). It's as if she has plenty and various weaponries in her vocal arsenal and she knows how to utilize them well. Those moments when she sang while looking straight into the camera, I got an impression that she had this "yea-I-know-I'm-good" attitude inside her, and her confident singing totally serves. I don't know if it makes sense, but that's how I feel. Please enlighten me more if you have an expert vocal knowledge. Secondly, I'm also aware people have been saying things about KoL being the monster rookie with their talent. Again, even as a non-fan, you can not deny that opinion if you have watched this whole episode. Her talent seems so refined surpassing that of a rookie level. As Mujin said, I also got more and more curious of Kiss of Life now. I'm definitely gonna look into them more from now on!

Yes! I am not officially trained but very interested in vocal training so I can say that she has a strong control of vocal muscles so at some points her voice sounded like fading away even without moving on her mic; she could do many difficult vocal variety, including vibrato; and her head voice is as powerful as her chest voice (fully shown when she does the belting). That's why her singing sounds good for us, like many vocal varieties which sound rich and not hurting our ears when she hits high notes (not strained). Since she said her role model is also Ariana Grande and Ariana's first album 'Yours Truly' had so many varieties so I am expecting so much from her, expecting more various discographies KoF can produce 🎉
