Yes their music is not overly complicated and that is why many people brush them off .What most people Don' realize about KISS is their music isn't meant for sitting in your living room listening to their albums. Their song are made to be played as loud as they can in front of 20- 500 thousand people singing and dancing along and just having a great time.

I was about 12 years old when this song hit the radios all over the world. I'd already started playing guitar when I was 10 and hearing this just double my efforts. Not to mention when I first heard Eddie Van Halen in 1978. I saw kiss three times in different variations of the band. Once without makeup twice with the makeup and one of those times was the original lineup. This video shows all the different lineups. They changed rock and roll they changed the way people look at rock and roll they changed the way people play rock and roll. Absolutely crazy live shows.

This is the KISS song everybody knows, or at least has heard but maybe never knew it was a KISS song. One of my all-time favorites. They combined rock n roll and fantasy more than every other rock band. Yes, their songs are fairly simple, but they captured the time in which they were birthed. For most hardcore KISS fans, this isn't their favorite song, but as a gateway song to the casual fan it's their favorite.

Seriously... you guys gotta do the Pink Floyd song Echoes. You could go with the album version, or the live from Pompeii version (which is in two parts) but as someone who knows PF, 💯 I recommend the David Gilmour Live in Gdansk version. It was Richard Wright's last performance before his death, and David hasn't played the song live since. To him, it's far too much like a conversation between him and Richard to ever have that conversation with anyone else. That however hasn't stopped Nick's band from playing it live recently. You should check those recordings out also, but after you react to this one.

You should really have found a genuine film of this song rather than the mash-up of video-snippets of other songs, none of which are this one. Still, good reaction to a great song but they video you chose could have been so much better.

They are not still making new music. They stopped doing that years ago. This song is about 40 years old and the video is made of different clips from different concerts along with some added stuff, made many years ago. However, they are on their last and final tour this year. It will end at Madison Square Garden in New York City this December. After that, they are retiring. They are in their early 70's and it's time for them to retire. They started in 1973 and ending in 2023. 50 years! Gene the bassist and Paul the rhythm guitar are the founding members and the only ones that are original. The lead guitar and drums have had a few different people.

When I lived in Budapest, a local band used to sing this phonetically. They thought the chorus went, "I, want to rock and roll all night, and *part of* every day." It seemed like such a hilarious voluntary limitation for a band with a fire-breathing vampire in it. :-D

Great reaction. My first concert experience was Kiss at the Philadelphia Civiv Center in 1975. What 14 year old kid wouldn't enjoy this circus.
