Hey ric! Letting you know everything arrived intact ! Thanks again for the streamers ! I feel like I have a little piece of the last kiss show ! I really like the pee wee n large marge button! I am a button guy for sure and the key chain is killer to! You read my mined ! I was hoping u would send the blue one! Ace’s color! Ha ha ha ! I also want to say I really connected with your wax pack and winter wax page you typed! I rem. Buying a new kiss tape back then and arranging and rearranging putting up posters and listening to the tape over n over as I was doing that ! Also spending time during those winter days drawing pics of kiss ! It seemed like it would last most of the day! I had so much fun doing it ! I’m really excited about the wax pack membership stuff your doing! It’s like the kiss army fan club stuff! That’s one my favorite things about kiss! Is the fan club !! Really great idea ric!!!! Glad it arrived. I really appreciate all of our KISS talks. Connecting with other fans is juice of this whole thing. It's what makes being a KISS fan such cool thing. I love the big tour books. Such a time gone by. Big and excessive. Love it. I also love iron on's too. I remember that smell of the hoy vinyl being heated up by the iron. Lots of memories! Take care man!

That was the best feeling in the world. I can still remember one Spring morning, shooting baskets in the driveway wearing a red t-shirt, with a YODA iron on. When that kind of stuff never leaves your mind....that's magic. Have a great weekend.

Those books sound great. I really slept in on those post 98' shows. I wish I would have gone to more. FREEDOM OF ROCK tour was my first KISS show back after the Reunion. I don't know what was wrong with me, or they just weren't hitting KC as much LOL. Have a great weekend man.

I traded a friend in the 5 grade a new double platinum record for the destroyer and love gun tour books with the iron on still connected to the book he went to the shows and got them at cobo hall Detroit if it was me I would of never traded them but lucky for me I still have them on my wall in frames today 🤘

I can't believe Revenge was your 2nd KISS show! Thought you went way back but I love your reviews and videos. Especially the NYC landmarks visit video! My first shows were two during 1976 (Destroyer Tour). My Mom is from Toronto originally so I saw them during a family trip at Kitchener Auditorium late April. Then I saw them back home in July in Columbia SC at the Carolina Coliseum. I heard the 76 tour book cover was taken from the crowd at the Columbia SC show. Not sure that's accurate because it was 7/6/1976 and the tour started in April after the Destroyer album came out. I'm thinking that shot was from their Feb '77 RARO show in Columbia.

That's awesome you saw a KISS show (let alone a Destroyer show), while on a family trip. THAT is childhood magic. I became a fan December, 88'. My best friend who introduced me to the band, had been a fan since 78', so I got to relive a lot of his nostalgic years, when we both started going down the fandom path in the late 80's. With no SMASHES tour, our first show together was HITS. Good times. The childhood you just relayed...MAGIC! Love hearing stories like that. Thanks for sharing. Have a great Saturday.

I've always loved the tour books. I think from my old collection that got stole, I believe I had one tour book. Alive 2. For the times I've seen them, I've always opted out for a t shirt being on a budget. Wished I had grabbed tour books. I do remember rrying to get a Crazy Nights TB, but was sold out by time I got to it. Anyway, love the video. Brings back memories.

That Silver Reunion era book I recall seeing it in music stores like Tower and Sam Goody. I don’t think they were available at shows. Just more merch from that era is what I recall. Wish I had any version of Dynasty. My 1st show was August 16, 1979. I was 8 yrs old. I wanted to go to December 77’ show my I was too young to convince my parents. I begged them at age 6.

I love tour books I used to get them for my son they called the programs at the time I got one from the band Rush 30th anniversary also Fleetwood Mac and many others and he would just throw them in this one closet or they would go into the doorway and got ripped and all that so I started taking them into my own possession and took care of them there are 20/30 dollars a pop so take care of them as they become collector's item🎉😂❤

I had not heard that, but I don't know a lot about Tourbooks. DYNASTY would probably be the only one I know the most about. Everything KISS shows the 76' Tourbook as the first tour book, stating, "KISS's first Tourbook (featuring photos from the ALIVE! tour). This had 24 pages and featured a mailing card to join the KISS Army. First on sale on January 25, 1976, in Detroit, Michigan, the tour book was part of three initial pieces of merchandise provided by Boutwell". That would be an awesome find, if that is true. The HITS tour was a return-to-form for KISS (sans makeup). Great staging, lots of pyro, a killer setlist (with older gems) and KISS at their acrobatic best. IMO the best KISS show of the non-makeup years. The Revenge tour in North America ended-up resembling the same results of the COTN tour almost ten years earlier. Albeit Revenge got better FM and official band videos' airplay, in '92 their media coverage didn't equate to ticket sales. Perhaps the reason the Revenge tour was cut-short, I was fortunate to see them on Oct. 2nd at MLG in Toronto (the Statue of Liberty skull-feature and 'bird-finger' worked that night). The KISS '77/'78 World Tour Book was issued after the supplies of the KISS '76/'77 Tour Book ran-out as KISS did a 'victory lap' of the United States to support KISS Alive 2. Probably the reason why you can still find those older tour books out there. The KISS Canadian Summer Tour '77 (early July to early August '77) sold merch largely based-on the offerings of the RaRO tour. Although my 13 year old self believed I was watching KISS do their official Love Gun tour (and it was with some mix of Destroyer/Love Gun costumes yet no Serpent statue or front of stage risers) it was in-fact a precursor to what was planned for the US two months later. What I love most of all, is the fact all of the KISS 70s and 80s merch was a mechanical offering of-sorts, no digital downloads, no apps and no online ordering. Things that were tangible which gave us a sense of ownership for what we believed-in.
