One of my favorite Kiss songs and Love Gun happening to be on top 10 for favorite Kiss album. I wish I had been born earlier to live through when Kiss first started but sadly I was born in '93 and missed pretty much everything.Though thankfully with this comeback of there's they are getting great reviews from Sonic Boom and new generation of fans. Kiss is my all-time favorite band, I live and breath Kiss. There all I ever talk about and I am madly in love with Paul Stanley! His voice is AMAZING!

No kidding. This was the first album I ever bought... not just of KISS, but of anybody. So, to say that I've listened to this album (and this song) a few times is a HUGE understatement. I was 7 when I bought it. I didn't know it was a cover tune until years later. Obviously, the appeal to adding the song was having the word (or variation of) "KISS" in it...like "Kissin' Time"... but they made it work, IMO.

+Bill Wren i don't know if it is one of his best, but it sure is a favorite of mine. It is really simple, but his tone always has a touch of melancholy to it that fits this song, and sends the album out with a beautiful touch of class. i learned the solo in an afternoon, using a Les Paul, same pickup config, but i cant get Ace's tone, though i can play it fine. Opinion wise, i can agree, albeit not one of his more involved solos, it hits it spot-on, and maybe that does make it one of the best. Even in its simplicity, it is very moving, and really makes the song bigger than it would have been....well it and the castanets. :D
