Regardless of their age, KISS remains the way they were and are now. We are all growing up and getting older. Age makes itself felt. They say that Paul can't sing. And you yourself try to sing for so many years and splash on stage. After all, KISS, they are good fellows lasted for almost 50 years on stage.

All the people nitpicking and hating on kiss for having newer band members and Paul's voice degrading some just stop. That stuff is normal and happens over time. Plus they play Detroit Rock City well here.

And people say Paul can't sing. I thought he actually did pretty well here for his age. Was it as good as years ago? No. But I'd like to see you guys keep that good of a voice for 40+ years. Or more actually as he has been singing since way before KISS.

Ace and Peter are two assholes. Thaks to Paul and Gene KISS remains a household name. If you read some of the biographies from the 70's you'll see how idiots Peter and Ace were. It's a miracle they managed to get 7 years of the original line-up. Honestly, they deserve to be there, they're KISShistory, but i wouldn't give a damn if they played or not.

Mux yer a total clown! why don't these 2 impostors write their own music? why don't they create their own own persona's? Instead of being posers? The reason is because they can't. It's all about a rip off for $$$. the real KISS fans that put them where they are today know it. This is a cover band.

Give it up buddy! Ace and Peter have moved on and have made it clear that Gene and Paul are total DOUCEHBAGS to the fans. They bitch about Ace and Peter HOWEVER, they have impersonators playing them on stage!!!! That in itself is VERY TELLING about how much Gene and Paul NEED Ace and Peter to feed themselves, PATHETIC! No matter how much P and G hate Ace and Peter, THEY REQUIRE their likeness to keep up the charade that KISS is NOW! A complete JOKE that is about to unravel

I was the drummer and lead singer in a band years ago and know how horrible it is to lose your voice. Although it's okay now I had to do several shows with a hoarse voice and you just have to tough your way through it. It's frustrating and mortifying, but "the show must go on". If Paul has permanent damage that is a fucking shame. He was a trooper though, and people should empathize with his plight. I for one know that it is nightmare to bluff your way through a song when your voice is gone, let alone an entire concert. Paul deserves kudos. Bravo. Semper fi.

They made really great records, and I love them. But Paul gave his voice to the audience too much, for too many years. He used to be one of the best rock singer ever, but it's time not to waste his voice totally. Still a great performer, for his age, I only want to tell him and the band "Thank You for everything!" but it is time to relax and think to studio activity. Hoping that also Ace and Peter could join.

I like Kiss, a lot. I've been listening to their music since I was a kid. I had the chance to see them again, live, not so long ago (which is not as easy as you'd think when you don't live in the US). Even when you're a fan, you have to be deaf to say he still has the best voice, that's just not true. You can make a little comparison with Klaus Meine, who does not have such a hard time singing Scorpions' oldest songs... And I say that without hate or anything because I spent countless hours enjoying their music. Time does take its toll, that's it. I'd prefer to see them put and end to an impressive career (like Black Sabbath) instead of trying to stay too long (like AC/DC). That said, I was surprised by this vid, because he did sound much better when I saw them on stage. ... and Ace's guitar always sound so sharp, Gene is always such a showman, Peter is still the guy who made little me want to be a drummer ^^

Kiss has taken some interesting turns in their history. While Ace Frehley is a freak of nature, having no guitar lessons whatsoever, Tommy Thayer just seems to have more attitude. I think it's funny in real life Ace is the CONSTANT joker and talker, while Tommy is quiet and cordial, insisting that every voice be heard. I would love to see these two play together, Spacemen United!

I love Singer's technique on squelching the crash cymbals to create a really loud hi-hat effect. I saw Tommy Aldridge do that with Ozzy back in the day, and I still like it. Very cool.

I SNIPE it was Peter Criss who was the first drummer in Kiss then Eric Carr then Singer. Peter left the band and when Singer was in the band after Eric Carr passed he made a decision to have Peter come to the MTV unplugged session along with ace and that's when Peter came back into the spot light cause after the Kiss Unplugged they set out to do the reunion Tour with Peter and Ace in there original costumes after a few 100 shows all over kiss was still not the same so agin Peter was the first to say he was out then with that ace left agin so the only two people they had in the band before the reunion Tour was Tommy and Eric Singer so they made them into what they are today not to mention that Tommy had already been with KISS for a while he taught Ace all his Guitar solos that Ace had forgotten.
