Feel free to ask questions on what you see in our videos. My free time is limited, so be patient but I will try to respond as best I can. The Steam Traction World forum is also an excellent place to find information and tips about constructing these kits.

Hi, may have missed it in the video, are the spokes pre-bent?

Yes, all spokes are pre-bent. Some needed to have their outer edge rounded a bit so they did not interfere with the fillet of the wheel rim along the mounting rib. On the rear wheels, we had to adjust the bend slightly on some spokes to mate properly with the wheel rib. This was done by hand in a bench vise. They don't bend easily, but it can be done.

Glad to know you are finding this series interesting or helpful. I absolutely will finish the series. During the Spring and Summer I spend very little time at the computer, so updates will be slow. I'm also waiting on several parts to complete various kits which will delay release of those videos. Next to be released will be the video for the horn plates and bearing housings (kits 9 & 10).
