I love the silent auction for charity idea. I have several finished canvases now living unseen under my bed. I would so donate them for a good cause!!

I use rubbing alcohol. Did a q tip in. Wring it out and swirl it in the bag of drills before pouring them

I tried doing that on my Warm Witch drills and they got all wet! 😂 maybe I just need to ring it out more.

I’ve no idea what I would want for a customized kit. I really would like to do one but I’ve no idea when I’ll get that many cards lol I have 4, no golds or black. I need to get my paintings framed and hung. My office area is where I work from home and diamond paint. It’s decorated in a beach/ocean theme, so I have some to hang in there. I also want to hang seasonal ones up. But donating or gifting them is an idea too. Btw…always looking for your vids 😂

Hi Ashley. I have been loving each of your videos. Also, the silent auction idea is a great idea. I imagine donating a nicely framed and double matted diamond painting and then donating the proceeds to charity would be fabulous. Also, when I get my diamond paintings framed to hang in my home, I go on a Goodwill circuit with measures at the ready and a measuring tape to find really nice frames for cheap then I have a double mat cut. Also @Diamondpaintersanonymus uses Static Guard and sprays some on a q-tip and swirls it inside her baggies and the container. Keep up with the videos. Love them all.

I love your videos. And to react on what I have heard: when I am at home and do not need to go to work -and my husband is working - I am sleeping in the afternoon and working through the entire night 😁 Night owl club. 🦉 I am way more productive then. And about custom canvas, it sounds really nice indeed. Ngl, I mostly work on custom canvases like exvlusively with my own drawings or drawings.I received from my fellow artist friends as a gift.😁 Someone also drew my Star Wars (yeah, I am a SW nerd) OC for me to turn her work into a DP and show it on Insta🥰☺️ I love many fields of art, connecting them is just so great🩷 Thank you for your video again, cannot wait the next one😎

Humidity level in our homes is really what causes the static and I use a whole dryer sheet under my tray as I kit up and I wipe my tray after a couple of times of filling it as I kit up and I cut up dryer sheets in every container…I don’t fight much static that way… but also a humidifier running helps too

Yes! Florida is SO humid. This was my first kit that gave me this much trouble but I like the idea of wiping everything down with a dryer sheet first to see if that helps.

Hi Ashley I never had any luck with dryer sheets. For major static I use a qtip dipped in hydrogen peroxide then swirl it in the bag, works awesome. Side note just a dab of peroxide goes a long way. Happy dping 😊

Hello bestie ❤ 🐈🐈🐈 There's nothing better than relaxing with your video and diamond painting after a hard day at work. I really like the idea of a silent auction for charity, I would love to take part in something like that, even though I made maybe 4 paintings in total and there are no such events in Poland.

I myself work just one canvas at a time. I kit down per kit, so I don't DMC code them. I just put the drills in baggies and keep them together with the kit label. As I kit up, I put the drills on the dryer sheet, and roll them around, then poor into my art dot bottles. I have a case that holds 240 bottles and one that's a 60. I try to keep things simple. My addiction is collecting the pens. I use 6 per kit. I have all the placers on and lay drills according to how ever many are needed.. 1- 12 on metal placers. 1- 16 on curved placers. Curved placers are for round drills and are amazing.

I take my small piece of dryer sheet and put it in the bag and shake the bag the best you can. I keep the dryer sheet in the container with the drills. It works pretty good. I have seen people poor their drills on top of a dryer sheet and then poor into your container. I haven't tried that yet.

Take a whole dryer sheet and spread it out, then pour the drills in the middle of the sheet. Fold it hot dog style and pour it into the container Like a funnel. I've seen a lot do it and it's worked.

This is going to be so cute. I cant wait to see it done. Same girl, I set an alarm to go off every 15 minutes starting at 5am through 630. First I need to drag myself out of bed, then i want to know how much time I have left before i have to leave work no later than 630. I have only done 2 custom kits and they were both portraits. They came out nice, however I found that to get it to look like a wanted I had to make them huge. I think I would try creating an AI image that I like just for something different.

@@messygirlcrafts I am not familiar with the US based companies that do the customs. I have seen the company The One With Diamond Art does offer them. I have been looking at some of their canvases and absolutely drooling over them. When I bought mine it was a few years ago and I was mainly ordering from AliExpress and I got them from the EverMoment shop on there. I know...dont hate..I didnt really understand the unlicensed art work thing at that time. They are incredibly detailed, but when I say huge I am not joking. They are big. Happy to show you pics at some point if you like to at least get an idea. I have one hanging that is a portrait of my husband and I that came out really well.

Static sucks. Definitely not world ending, but can be annoying sometimes 😅 I cut up dryer sheets into little squares and I keep them in my containers and they just live there. I also wipe down my tray with a dryer sheet and it does seem to help overall. I'm also very guilty of stalking my favorite artists on Instagram and I regularly send my favorite images to DAC licensing 😂Thanks for another great video!

I also cut the numbers off the bag as close as I can and I put them in my containers 🫙 too.. because I have had my stickers come off my containers…and I couldn’t find them so a hard lesson learned…please know I am just trying to give good advice..

I love your videos. Also, I love the artist of the diamond you're working on. I've been following Baylee Jae for years. She's grown so much since then. She has several of her pieces in Diamond Art Club. I have LAC, At Peace, (this is the first diamond painting I completed), as well as Bakery. There are a few more, I just can't remember their names. LOL. You may enjoy her channel. She has two beautiful cats, one is black. She's a joy to watch. She vlogs her day to day life, which includes her art, packaging orders, etc. So, if you need something in the background while working on your diamond paintings, you should check her out.
