Always nice to see new Perry kits. Fantastic!

It’s really good, combining multiple potential units into one was a great idea and they’ve done really well fitting all the options in.

This looks to be the best plastic cavalry release from Perry. Huge variety of troop options and info plus quality flags.
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
One thing I didn’t focus on was the flags, which is my error, it’s because I don’t use them. Otherwise yes, possibly their best cavalry so far (although I do quite like the Austrian dragoon/cheavaulger set).

does anybody know if you can convert the russian dragoons to cuirassiers?
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
The most obvious issue would be the lack of cuirass, which I suppose you might be able to sculpt on with the right patience and materials. I think that it might be quite a long-winded and fiddly thing to do, although not impossible.

Well, from 1801 to 1812, as far as I can tell from Viskovatov, Russian Cuirassiers did not wear the cuirass. I am planning to use Russian Dragoons even though the saddle cloths were a bit different.

Thanks for this, higher resolution than 360 would be good for miniatures though! :)
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
It’s uploaded in 1080p50 HD - your device might be autoplaying it in 360, my phone does that.
@HordesofThings2 жыл бұрын
@@thelastbattalion3509 Cheers it is avaialbe now in 1080, I must have just seen it immediately after you uploaded it and before it had done the final HD processing step :)
@thelastbattalion35092 жыл бұрын
Not to worry, as you say it was probably KZbin finishing the background processing, you were just too keen!

The Prussian coat is called a Litewka, pronounced Lit-eff-kah. It's an originally Polish-Lithuanian garment. A small part of the old Grand Duchy of Lithuania was part of Napoleonic Prussia: the area of Memel.

Despite reading that word for the better part of 20 years, I've never actually noticed that it runs 'ew' and not 'we', hence my pronunciation! Every day's a school day.
