Clearly there are serious things addressed in S3 and authentic representation is essential. However, I loved the humor and giddiness both Kit and Joe brought to the intimacy discussion. Intimate situations can be very funny, and awkward, and vulnerable. Being close enuf to engage fully makes it more authentic. Their discussion gives us a POV into their relationship, as friends and as characters.
