Hang out and chat with me while I sabotage myself by forcing Oricorio dancer memes while everyone else is having fun with Ursaluna and Ogerpon instead of trying to be innovative in a zero stakes fun online competition! Kitkami Prologue is basically a VGC format that only allows the Kitkami Pokedex so no paradox pokemon, transfer pokemon or treasures of ruining the meta😍

I am late to the party because KZbin doesn't like to notify me of anything I actually want to watch, but this was really entertaining. I enjoyed this competition more than any season of ranked in SV, and I'm sad it's over now

I used mono water for this competition. And yes it was viable and i was winning half of the battles - more then i expected. Though looking back i would have swapped out two or one pokemon for another water one. Kinda regret not brinding Gyarados or Crawdaunt. My team was: Politoed (Drizzle), Barraskewda (Propeller Tail), Ludicolo (Swift Swim), Basculegion (Swift Swim), Milotic (Competitive) and Ogerpon (Water Absorb doh). I was hyped that i could finally use Follow Me on mono water team, but in the end i would have swapped out Ogerpon as it was not very helpful to my team. Still it got me thinking to perhaps make a "fake swift swim" team, where my pokemon are build for trick room. Barraskewda could be suicidal lead with properrel tail if needed, Ogerpon could follow me and i was thinking to have Bruxish with Trick Room (people expect it to be choice scarfed but you can make it bulky instead and use Trick Room to surprise opponents or reverse Trick Room if you fight slower enemies who are obviously going for that move seeing you have "fast" team). Could utilize items such as Room service, maybe even have Curse Dondozo to outspeed under Trick Room even after Tatsugiri fuses with it. I am just brainstorming here but would be hilarious to make such team succesful in ranked battles. I don't have much time now to make this team but feel free to use this idea. You could also have half trick room half swift swim team if you want. It just that... people never expect rain team to work in trick room because its just "gotta go fast" and Politoed can't underspeed Torkoal unless it has lagging tail (but then it will not outspeed in trick room either). I made it to 39th on the ladder. Though after waking up this morning I was ranked over 100th. I personally didn't expect to do as well as I did since I've never went to a real life event or got that high on ladder. Does anyone have any idea how many people entered? Edit: I officially finished at 125th.
