i am the lucky one who witnessed the birth of this band in 1973. Their first Public show was in August 1974 at Mavivye Market, in the then Mukaa Location, then Machakos District. They performed infront of Minister Jackson Angaine, then Minister for Lands and Settlement. They would always perform for us at Dr Muia Kalii's Home in Kiimakiu near Salama during every Christmas holidays. You will hear them mention Daktari Muia and Salama town in many of their songs because he became their Patron, I have all their music. I love their music soo much
