I’ve had my jetboil for twenty years and it’s still kicking. Has worked well In every situation including single digits when I was just boiling water for everyone.

I've had one in my stanely cookset for years, just get a windscreen from MSR and you're set.

Get a butane to propane camping stove converter for the Coleman style bottles. I've been using that type of setup for hunting down to -40. With that said, propane turns to a liquid at that temp, so Generally keep the bottle under a jacket. Ive had good success with both fuels, but for cold weather it's worth having the $10 converter.

Check out the BRS3000T. It's a titanium canister stove that weighs an ounce. Lots of through hikers, including me, use it.
