I'm glad my intuition was right, I went to my local target and picked up the captain America falcon was about to buy him then I realized I didnt want him for some reason

I mean a lot of Hasbro’s price IS NOT right. $25 per figure is nuts. In a BAF sets, it normally cost $120-$130 for the full 6 figure set, but now it’s $30 more for only wanting 3 of 6 figure and the BAF.

It was on clearance for 24.99 two weeks ago at target but it wouldn't scan because the figure wasn't supposed to be sold unitl after 6/03/24 smh

“I’m over it” is exactly how I felt . This kind of felt like that Luke Cage release. Hasbro is just a let down with the half a** work on black characters.

Don’t like the character but I love falcon and cap just not together. Price is too high and the mcu falcon cap build a wings is better imo. Just wish we could get just falcon back.

I didn't start collecting Marvel Legends until 2020, so I never got the first SamCap. I like this fig. But you are right, more heads and better hands would've made this "Deluxe" figure more worth it.

No way this figure is worth $35. I’ll wait and see if Target has a sale in the fall.

Rule that I set for myself with winged figures: if the wings of a figure are not on par with or close to the Kaiyodo Hawks from Yamaguchi, then it's a no go, no matter the price. There are 9 different configurations for his wings, *thats* *with* *the* *same* *pair* - if these mainstream companies bothered *trying* getting that close without patent infringement, that effort alone would be worth the price justification they set, in most cases (in my book). But they don't.

I was on the fence with this one. The price point is the reason why I may wait and see if I can get it cheaper if possible. Missed the original one because I wasn’t collecting at that point. I do like the fact it is his comic book based design though. I appreciate the review.

I know this is technically a bad release and I agree with that but I love Sam as Cap and I liked the original figure (minus the chest) so I did get this while using a $10 Target reward card. Clipped the circles off on the wing hinges to give them more range and drilled a hole in the pack for the shield and I’m happy.

I agree with everything in this review and I still had to cop for the same reasons KBC bought it. Black character/Sam Cap. Never had the OG release and I was very close to over paying for it on the aftermarket until they announced this. $35 with wings vs AM prices w/o wings. It absolutely should be better, but it was an easy cop for me.

I don't need nor care about this one. But a classic falcon would be great. With me wings that work for a new Vulture would be great.

@KitbashCustoms yeah I know. I skipped that one because i got the first one. But I still want a classic one. The red outfit with the V. With feather looking wings instead of the holographic looking ones. Also on a more articulated body
