HERE IS PLAMOTHERAPIST'S KITBASH VIDEO - kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKSwoX2ta719oNU (Edit: Removed the GPaint link because I no longer associate with Studio G and don't recommend those products. This doesn't affect the video's content, so I'm leaving it as is; it was a fun project after all!)

TL;DR Thank you for making rad videos and helping me feel better about trying to do some customization. I started watching these videos a short while ago, and they've really made me want to do more with my model kits. I've just sorta been building them as I can afford them for the last couple years, and I tried to do some hand painting because airbrushes are 'a tad expensive' for me, and it didn't come out well and it sorta soured my attitude towards trying to do anything custom. Watching these videos have pulled me back towards really wanting to try and do custom work, and also maybe just not sweat the details as much, as long as I'm happy with how it looks when I'm done. Thank you for that.

@@MMMayhem The question now is to paint or not to paint. It is the very basic MS-06 Zaku II, and I am thinking it would look mean in gray and green, with some nice airbrushed diagonal tiger stripes. I already have a plastic crack problem with minis. I am afraid it might branch to gunpla too.

I have a kitbash idea I've wanted to do but my problem is the kits I need have been out of print for a while and the only way to get them is to pay $70+ for a hg kit which is way to much for my budget unfortunately...

*snerks* Must... resist... Gundam... Graveyard...!! Loved that little bit... I should contemplate kitbashing something at some point. It looks like a decent amount of fun (I know it is for tabletop wargaming). Actually, come to think of it, I've been kind of tempted to kitbash a Master Grade Ginn and a Zaku Gunner Warrior, I've just been debating back and forth whether or not I want to build those separately or not (well, the first Gunner Zaku Warrior I have is getting a resin conversion kit, second one was originally purchased to try my hand at plaplate detailing and modification, but that idea seems to have been thrown into the same bin original plans for my second MG MS-06S Zaku II went into).... Playfully gotta say "hmmm, one more project idea, but only question is whether the Zaku conversions first, or a kitbash..."
@MMMayhem3 жыл бұрын
ha ha, it was quite hard to resist opening the drawer... My advice is to try and finish projects before starting new ones (but we both know I could stand to listen to my own advice a bit more XD)
@WhiteWulfe3 жыл бұрын
@@MMMayhem I agree. That's why the thought has been sent over to the "investigate/research further" idea stage. I have to get this Zaku 1 Sniper conversion kit sorted out first!
