Hello the Motor has 500W. At the hook you have the 1.3 HP A DC Motor is not so loud as a AC Motor Heavy doughs or for example your meat only at stage one or two ! Otherwise you can damage the maschine
@rik737310 ай бұрын
An AC drive motor is basically a brushless motor. DC drive motors are bassically brushed motors. You definitely want a brushless motor, because they are much more efficient and also require less maitenance.

Hi, nice video that answers a lot of questions I asked myself before buying this robot. But a question remains about small quantities. I read in the instructions that there is a screw for adjusting the position of the bowl which allows you to adjust the space between the bottom of the bowl and the tool. This screw is located on the body at bowl level. Have you tested this setting ? Maybe a correct setting can allow you to beat just an egg or a small amount of dough ? Best wishes
@csabas4611 ай бұрын
My question is the same, is it capable to handle small amount of dough or just 2 eggs? Of course with the proper settings with the screw!

Yeaaa, about those sausages...meat tends to "climb", especiali with a paddle like that. what one needs is more of a knife-like extension (not sharp, just flat steel for radial movement), and bent a bit, a scraper on the sides...and yea, probably 1/2 of whatever your bowl is, cause of the climbing :-) it starts to settle when enough seasoning is in there, water if your meat is dry, and so on.. I'm glad i found someone who tried this machine honestly, even if the showcase is just for one food. I'm actualy thinking of dishing out for this, as they still look to be maybe the only manufacturer of buy-once-and-your're-done with buying these machines :-)

very good knowledge buddy. thanks for the advice. I guess it still works for them as a company that people will buy one for life. I think it's a much better environment selling point than most other company products. I'm pleased I got this beast model but after having it got a year now definitely don't need this size unless you doing something commercial or you have a giant family

@@NigerianKitchen, yup. It seems like an overkill opener for a home mixer :-D Did you have any consteuction issues so far? Leaks, smells? In the end, I'll probably go for the mid sized 4.8L artisan..that'll do me just fine! cheers

Great video. I don t run a business but hoping to make bread and pizza on a regular basis for my partner and friends. Torn because I see the HD is not great for small batches.... Is there a way of calibrating it so that the beater is closer to the bottom? I dont want to invest in the Artisan only to find that it struggles to do 2 or 3 loaves of breads or 4-5 pizzas ... :( Help!

Hi, your video is very interesting. Have you tried using the dough hook with your sausage meat? It might not push the meat around and up as much as the paddle attachment. The spiral shape helps to keep bread dough down in the bowl, as opposed to having it climb up the hook on the the J or C shaped hooks. It might help to push the meat down into the bowl if it starts to creep up. Also, using a slower speed would help. Are you still happy with the mixer, otherwise? I'm thinking of getting either this, or the 8 quart Commercial mixer (which is the same as the Pro Line, except it comes with stainless steel paddle and hook, and it's certified for commercial use.) Thanks. Greetings from Canada.
@NigerianKitchen3 жыл бұрын
That is great advice. I hadn't thought to try mixing with the dough hook. Will give it a go. Regarding getting the bigger models I've read that you don't necessarily get real extra capacity because what you can mix is limited by the height that the mixing attachments reach and this doesn't seem to change much with capacities over 6qt
@Mr_Chuckles2 жыл бұрын
@@NigerianKitchen yeah I think the main difference in the "pro" one is it has added safety features for commercial use eg. safety cutoff switch, metal cage to prevent touching moving parts etc
@sashineb.21142 жыл бұрын
@@Mr_Chuckles The KA mixers are a bit different in UK/Europe, compared to North America (where I'm from.) The Commercial model here is an 8 quart machine, and there are two styles: with or without the metal safety cage, and it comes with stainless steel bowl tools (whisk, dough hook, beater). Plus, the North American 7 quart ProLine mixers have a five year warranty, but only two years for the 8 quart Commercial line. I wonder how the warranties compare to the UK/Europe machines.
