Welcome back to another week renovating Poppi! This week we are finally getting a project completed... tackling the kitchen renovation. Back in April we gutted the pop-up but kept the original kitchen cabinets to refinish and install again. The kitchen's countertops were replaced and a new cooktop, faucet and hardware were installed, too.
How do you like the updates? Because I'm obsessed!
Products used in the kitchen renovation:
Faucet | amzn.to/3KZn52L
Drawer Pulls | amzn.to/3VWBliW
Drawer Knobs | amzn.to/4blS2ci
Cooktop | amzn.to/4eDbdB0
Cabinet Color | Thermal by Behr

you need to invest in some bar clamps. You could have put some glue on that board in both places that cracked, bar clamped it together and you would have never noticed it. I also wanted to point out, in the previous video where you used the chop saw for the first time, never, never, never cut something without holding it tight to the fence (the back part) that could be very dangerous and you could have gotten hurt. If you are afraid of the tool then mistakes happen. If you don't want to hold the wood, then clamp it in place. But never cut it without holding it. Over all your video is nice. Don't forget to seal that new counter top. I suggest boiled linseed oil. Gives it a nice finish and is all natural. If you don't care and want something tougher, then look into Polycrylic by Minwax or Polyurethane. Keep up the good work. Feels good to look back and see that you did that.
