How do you know he hasn't just by this small clip?! We don't get a live feed of peoples lives, well usually anyway, so how can you know if he does or doesn't off-screen! For all we know, they could have a roster of who does what, and they have allocated days where each of them clean. He also could have just been having a break or everything else was done, and there was just the sweeping to be done. Also, I myself know from living in a tiny flat that sometimes more than one person doing the cleaning/ whatever activities or chores in a small space can be difficult, getting in the way of each other and possibly just making more mess. Sometimes, it's just more time efficient to have one person doing things in such a small space. While yes, their space looks big enough that while one is doing a chore in one area, the other could also be doing so in another area, but who's to say that's not what may have happened in this clip just because we didn't see him doing it?!

Best cleaning tip my mom taught me was to clean as you go. Not always possible but usually manageable, and so much better than a full sink and messy counters after dinner. That being said, small spaces are definitely trickier to keep clean but your place looks great 🙂

What do u mean by "clean as u go" (english isnt my 1rs language). My mom wld clean every day, so it wld never be dirty, and do a bigger clean up on satuday mornings.isthat what u meant? I never have dirty dishes, for instance i CANNOT eat if there is dirty dishes in the sink, i clean b4 and afterwards, i also do my floor almost evey day.😅 since i live in 12m², (1m55 is 5 foot 2 i think🤔, if it helps.) it s necessary anyway. The annoying part is, since its small u got a lot of stuff and it gives the impression that it s a mess, when it s not. But,man , is it frustrating!

@@squarestar326pretty much what you said. My mom would clean most of the dinner prep dishes while dinner was cooking (other than the pots themselves, obviously). We preserved a lot of our produce when I was a kid so it was an ongoing process of prepping and cleaning, repeat, all day long. She was especially adamant during holiday baking and decorating or gift-preparation. “Make sure every project is cleaned up and put away before you move to the next!” I hated hearing that as a kid-it suspended the fun-but as soon as I hit adulthood, I got it.

I somewhat have the same problem. My wonderful husband of 47 years passed of Covid in2021. We lived in a ranch style house on acreage in a small town. So I had to sell my house ( after my husband's estate/tool sale and my yard sale when my house was ready to sell a year later). Moved into a small 2 bedroom older mobil home in a park, but with a magical small back yard. I am still putting a box or 2 of free stuff out by the curb even now. Miss the deer i had in my big yard but things change and door's close and open for a reason.

I'm sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how traumatic all that was. I hope you are finding peace and joy in life. You certainly deserve to after losing so much. I think you should consider writing a book. Reflections on loss and hope, learning to live with less and still finding the good in the everyday....I would definitely read that and I know others would, too. Regular people... their stories (much like my own), are far and away the most interesting.

At our local hospital, they were pulling people off of ivermectin and putting them on narcotics instead. Before 2020 that was an illegal thing to do to pull people Off of doctor prescribed medication’s, especially potentially life-saving medications when right to try is a right. Now we know that ivermectin was life-saving according to statistics that came out of Florida and Africa. However, even though more people survived on it and other post care options such as melatonin treatment, it doesn’t mean everyone did, I am so sorry for your loss.

My sister and brother in law downsized to live in a 22 foot Winnebago, then downsized to a smaller unit, then an even smaller unit, the back up to the 22 foot Winnebago. Traveled the US for about 15-ish years, then bought a not quite double wide trailer in a senior community. From the time they moved into the first Winnie, they kept their "things" to a minimum. Just enuf kitchen stuff for 2 people, 2 sets of bed linens, 2 sets of bath linens for each of them, and for their clothes a set for warm weather and a set for cold. If they bought something new, they got rid of something they had. They always shopped thrift/second hand/resale stores for clothes. My brother in law did well for footwear at those stores. My sister couldn't for ortho reasons, so she would just keep an eye out for end of season sales and usually could find what she needed/wanted. They continue to live the frugal life.

Then do put things right back. For exemple when you are cooking, in the meanwhile wash up the pots, spoons aso. Also try to put oil only on final plate. Things are easier to wash off when not oily

When you have SOOO much to do that it just gets way to overwhelming and you end up doing nothing at all (or procrastinating for a very long time), It is called “work/task paralysis”. I struggle from it, so seeing videos like this that showcase how normal it can be, but that you can overcome it and still get things done is so very helpful to me. Lovely home, thank you. 😊

I can very much relate to how having a lot of cleaning to do makes me semi unable to start cleaning. I kind of have to decide in my head what I'll start with and what I need to do on a given day and what can wait another day. It seems to help a bit.
@Bronte-on6tm

It helps me to commit to only 5 minutes a day. If I only clean for 5 minutes, then I have at least done that small bit. But most of the time, that 5 minutes turns into 20 minutes, and a lot of cleaning can get done every day.

I have been living in an RV for almsot 13 years, make sure you buy one that is a size you're going to be comfortable with. It is definitely a lifestyle that's not for everybody, more affordable than paying a mortgage on a house but you're giving up space and having to be picky about what you buy due to the minimal storage. It has its ups and downs for sure.

I can relate to the clutter. If i don't do something immediately, I struggle. And I've also decluttered a ton. Pro tip: only have one knife/spoon/fork per person. If you want extras for guests, keep them somewhere not easily accessible. The less you use daily, the less clutter there'll be.

I hear you, hun! We're retirees & just downsized our three story house & moved into our motorhome Aug '23. It was my spouse's dream, but i'm really struggling with tiny homing. I used to love to go camping, but now i'm not the "happy camer"! Everything you need you have to remove & stack 5 other things that are in front of it, take it out, replace the other things...repeat! I'm thankful & blessed that we have a nice safe warm/cool home to live in, but, yes, it does get a little claustrophobic, especially in the winter or when it's rainy & can't go out.

9 of us in a 864 sq ft house with no basement. My wife almost couldn't take it anymore. I finally just borrowed from my 401k and we moved into a large enough home. If you want to save money rent an apartment. You won't have to replace the furnace, AC, roof, driveway, windows. Owning a home is expensive but I think it's still worth it.

I honestly absolutely hated living in an RV for this exact reason. I love to cook. Having space to spread out and prep veggies with my little one, while the muffins I prepped are baking in the oven, and a pot of soup simmers on the stove and my bread maker hums away …that is home bliss. Living in the Rv was so tight and confined. And the messes…. They were too much for me. In a house, if I get too overwhelmed or tired, I can literally just stuff the mess into a closet or guest bedroom for another day. It allows me to have the peaceful mind that I need to be happy. Even if I know the mess is in another room the fact that it’s not in view makes all the difference.

At least is your fridge the reg. Size ?. A camper fridge is hard to store and juggle meals in. Always a struggle. With a reg. Fridge, I make up a pasta/ turkey broccoli dish kept in a single dish. I reheat it. I just finished a big can of peaches and a dish of franks and beans. I then replaced it with a spice cake for snacks and a vegetable dish as a side. You just can't do that in a tiny, dripping camp '.frige.

This is why tiny isn’t usually a good idea. Small is a much better idea. Instead of downsizing to something the size of a parking space, downsize to about 1000 square feet. It’s still small and a low foot print but not claustrophobic and you can make a meal without destroying your peace of mind.🐝❤️🤗
