I wasn't going to watch this video at first, because I thought "Kitchen cabinets, I have seen that hundrets of times, what information could be in there?" but the techniques you used to really make it fit in the corner, the bevel cuts on the frame and the thin plywood templates: I have never seen that before. Thank you, Jon!

Love this vid... I'm at the stage in my development where I don't need step-by-step detailed construction... logistics & pulling it all together are what I needed. ( & got ) I also learned a couple nu tricks ... using the brad nailer to hold the pieces before screwing is a great idea... as is the hot glueing the back panels. I wasn't sure what was goin on with the 45° on the faceframe until the installation part ... eases scribing cuts... 🤗 All in all, a great vid ... not too "speeded up" to know what was goin on. Personally I'd have gone with a french cleat for the uppers & maybe even the cabs ! ... floaters 🙄😂 Thanks Jon 😎👍☘️🍺

Is that hardboard layered on top of plywood? I've never seen that type before. I have to assume it's expensive. Anyone have details on this? Is this considered higher quality, or harder surface, or smoother, all of the above? I need to try my hand at cabinet building one day as I have rental properties and if nothing else I could simply build bathroom vanity cabinets better than the junk you get at big box store. Loved the bead board too by the way. Thanks and liked.

I have a question about cutting to the correct length. When you mark at say a length of 45 mm, do you then split the line when you cut or do you cut to the outside of the line? If you cut to the centre of the line, will it not make the length (although minuscule) short of the actual length you marked out?
