Great job! Decluttering is a process, many layers to unpack. It took me awhile to realize it was helpful to put rarely used items low or high rather than taking up prime easy real estate in my kitchen. So much better!! 🎉

I have a few things that I haven’t used in years but I love them and so I keep them🥰 I just keep in mind that I can keep anything but I can’t keep everything if I want to keep my house/space under control. I’m not a minimalist either but I have found that especially for our kitchen, the less we have in there, the easier it is to keep under control. Love your channel Jodi❤️

Thank you so much for reminding us that sometimes we are not ready to get rid of things and that is okay. I sometimes beat myself up for some of the things I just don’t want to get rid of. I have the ugliest huge turkey platter from my grandma. I will probably never use it and it takes up a lot of space in my hutch (which was also hers). But to me that has always been its home and whenever I open that up and see it, I don’t know, it just is a moment from my childhood of love and family. I am not going to feel guilty for keeping it anymore!

i LOVE THAT about the glasses. You should put them out for sunday dinner with your family or bring them out once a month to enjoy the memories that you have with him. They are special and they stay. No reason to explain. I have a dresser that has seen better days that my dad fixed a drawer on and it should go but I just can't let go of it because my daddy fixed it and he's not with us anymore.

Hi Jodi, I love you doing actual cleaning out drawers & cabinets. Yes, I kept my kids' teeth when they came out. But some are in their babybooks & some I find in other places, jewelry boxes & keepsake drawers are few! You did a great job. I do need to go through some of those things. I'm recuperating from surgery where I had a kidney removed right now. The kidney wasn't doing much. So it needed to come out! It's from a kidney stone that should have come out 5yrs or so ago. I did have some pain. But my Dr said it's probably just my back pain, so don't worry about it. I have osteoarthritis. Well I kept having UTI's & not going away. But soon as I got my new Dr he new what I had right away. He said it needs to be removed. So I did. I'm feeling much better than I have for years. So I'll get going on it when I feel really good! I still can't bend over to good. It's 2 weeks tomorrow. I'm in no hurry. Thanks for sharing! Love & Hugs! ☺️♥️🫂🐾🦉🍄🧶🧵🪡🖌🎨🖼📒📚✨️
